Daily practice is essential to building the happy, healthy, exuberant, and exciting life we seek. On this retreat, we focus on assisting you in establishing or deepening a consistent, dedicated morning Sadhana (practice) to purify and prepare you for life, every day! Traditionally, the physical postures of yoga were practiced simultaneously with meditation, and Pranayam (breath work) to purify, strengthen, and rejuvenate the body. Fulfilling the original intention of yoga, we bring it all together in balanced application, giving you the deepest experience of fulfillment through practice. Sat Manav practitioners begin each day with an intensified Asana practice, coupled with Pranayam and meditation. The body is empty, the mind is quiet, the intention for the whole day can be established. It is the ideal time for purification and building of the Pran (life force). Join us to begin and deepen yours!
Shodhana is located at the very center of the Hermitage, right near our wood-fired sauna, complete with two bedrooms; one with 2 twins and one with 1 queen bed, private 1/2 baths, and a shared living room. Shodhana is nestled in the trees, between two streams. It is the perfect place for reflection and release.
The Kund has an open downstairs, spiral staircase, and a beautiful tile shower. The upstairs is divided into two rooms, one private for single or a couple, and one with two twin futons. A shared full bath is downstairs. With cherry floors, all wood interior, skylights and wonderful views of the Hermitage property, a night at the Kund is the perfect conclusion to your day of yoga! Located right across from the Lingam Temple, you are perfectly situated for late night meditation.
The Guest Cabin is a private accommodation for two. Complete with a private half bath, intimate bedroom, and cozy living room, the guest cabin is an ideal retreat for two. Located just outside of Siddha Loka, the building at the heart of Hermitage life and activity, the guest cabin is the perfect place to immerse yourself in the yogic life. This cabin is complete with plaster walls, wide pine flooring, and traditional yogi motif.
Do you want to truly immerse yourself in the great outdoors? There is a beautiful campsite near the bubbling stream. Bring your own tent and bedding.
