The location is perfect the chef cooking is divine! If you really want to be with your self this is the place, not recommended for honeymoon couples, the noise insulation is not perfect... The spa is professional and beautiful.

What a magical location. Santani might be a bit remote but it's worth the time and effort to get there! This was by far the best hotel we stayed at in Sri Lanka. The service, accommodation, and facilities were all exceptional.
This hotel is perfection. Our expectations were extremely high before we got there (from pictures and reviews), and when we left, I am happy to say that they've exceeded our expectations!
Their food is out of this world and its super healthy and delicious. Staff and service in general is beyond amazing. We were pampered and literally all the staff were kind.
It took us a while to get there but it was definitely worth the ride! (Do not use google maps all the way for this hotel, it would be better to ask the locals or taxis to give you directions) Would definitely come again♥️
In a country where tea trails has long since ruled the luxury resort scene, this newcomer might just be the new “it” place. Santani embodies all the virtues of a spiritual ashram with the luxuries of a five-star wellness retreat. Offering curated wellness programs with elements of Ayurveda, detox, yoga and spa, Santani ensures every guest receives exactly what they need to heal. They strike the balance between pampering and rejuvenation through harnessing the power of the natural surroundings that make this site so harmonious. If you are looking for peaceful restoration and pampering, this is the place!

Ten days at Santani was pure heaven. The peaceful location in the hills around Kandy provided a backdrop for healing and renewal. I took the kind and compassionate advice of Dr. Ravi and followed the Ayuvedic treatments and diet. Not that hard to do as the food was out of this world and the treatments were of the same caliber. Discussed with him my sleep problems and he individualized my treatments to balance my Vata. Learned a lot about myself, found the hikes to the river a great place for reflection. Met lots of lovely people, guests and staff.
Back in the U.S. I am sleeping much, much better. I feel less anxious and I am so very, very grateful to all of those that have made Santani possible. Without a doubt I will return next year for a two week retreat.
