Your week stay will be fully catered, with luxury accomodation with two days in Cosmopolitan Palermo in Buenos Aries city and five days accommodation in Puesto Viejo Polo School.

Santa Catalina Retreats will be complementing your week of polo in Argentina with yoga practice. Santa Catalina Retreats are so happy to be partnering again with Michelle Barge from New York City, an accomplished rider and polo player. Michelle will lead you on a daily yoga practice, preparing and centering the body and mind for your polo training, and enlightening you along the way of the powerful connection between yoga, horses, and riding.
You will experience a unique training program consisting of riding lessons, swing technique, game strategy and practice, followed by a polo specific fitness routine. The goal is that you will leave the week seeing how much you have achieved and improved with your riding and your polo practice day by day, and ultimately having experienced one of the most rewarding, indulgent, and exhilarating weeks of your life.
Specific training activities include warm up classes, hitting practice in the hitting cage, riding lessons, stick and ball lessons, theory and game strategy, and chuckers practice. You will finish the week with a mini tournament, Argentine barbecue, and trophy presentation to the winning team.
You will have a bespoke cultural city tour during your two days stay in Buenos Aries city. You will have an afternoon at the Tortugas open, to watch a high goal game of the polo season and an evening at the Hurlingham polo club which is Argentina's oldest and finest polo club.

Michelle Barge has been practicing yoga since 1996 following a life dedicated to classical ballet and teaching yoga and leading global retreats since 2008. Her style fuses her training in traditional Hatha yoga schools, Iyengar, and Ashtanga with her training in core strength Vinyasa flow. Michelle brings a deep meditation practice to her classes through her knowledge of many forms of Buddhist and Hindu meditation. Michelle's passions and knowledge for polo, horseback riding, travel, fine foods and wine make her the perfect yoga teacher for this retreat.
Emiliano is the lead polo trainer. After many years of traveling the world, playing polo as a professional, he developed new players, managed a polo club in the United States, umpired professionally, tamed and trained ponies as well as having developed guests’ polo fitness, technique, and game strategy at his own family run polo estancia. Working alongside Emiliano is Julio Casares, who hails from a family of polo players and polo horse breeders.
This retreat will take place in Buenos Aries, Argentina.

Please book your flight to arrive at Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE). Transfer from and to the airport is included. Santa Catalina Retreats will pick you up from the airport.
