Come to Santa Barbara for a personal yoga retreat. Spend quiet time in a lovely apartment and prepare food for yourself in the cute private kitchen or walk a few blocks to sample some of Santa Barbara's wonderful restaurants. Practice on your own in the apartment's conducive space and then join the wonderful classes taught by highly experienced teachers to deepen your own practice and explore new teachings. Walk to the beach, go to a play or concert or film, read, be quiet, rest, sleep, and become more centered. The classes are currently both in person and live streamed.

Established almost two decades ago, in 1992, Santa Barbara Yoga Center is one of California's leading yoga centers, home to some of the finest instructors in the state. Located in a beautiful, historic building, their studios have an expansive atmosphere, with twenty-foot ceilings, huge skylights, and are filled with light. The studio is available to one or two people because they have only one queen-sized bed and one apartment. A full kitchen is yours for your use.

Driving directions from 101 Freeway

  • If you are heading north, take the Arrellaga Street exit.
  • After 5 blocks, turn right on State Street.
  • At the next street, turn left onto MicheltorenaI Street.
  • Santa Barbara Yoga Center is halfway down the block on the right. It is the big yellow building.

  • From the off ramp, turn left onto Mission Street under the freeway.
  • After 5 blocks, turn right on State Street.
  • After about 5 blocks, turn left at light onto Micheltorena Street.
  • Santa Barbara Yoga Center is halfway down the block on the right. It is the big yellow building.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 50% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on arrival.
