Comfortable and Peaceful Rooms, Inspired by India

The rooms at Sanskriti Yoga Center are designed to offer you a cozy and peaceful retreat, each with its own bathroom and decor inspired by the rich colors and tranquility of India. The rooms are shared, with options for one or two guests per room. There's also a spacious, modern dormitory with eight beds for those who prefer a communal experience. Private rooms are available based on availability, with an additional surcharge of 200 EUR.

Prachi and Benoit, a Franco-Indian couple, along with their daughter Sadhana, warmly welcome you in traditional Indian style to our chambres d’hôte-style bed-and-breakfast, nestled in the Mont-Blanc region of Haute-Savoie. Ideally located between Geneva and Chamonix, Sanskriti offers a blend of comfort and cultural authenticity.

The Yellow Room

The Yellow Room can accommodate up to eight guests with its eight single beds. With a spacious surface area of 30 square meters, this shared room offers breathtaking views and two bathrooms. Individual storage spaces, bedside lamps, and personal electrical outlets are provided for each guest, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay.

The Blue Room

The Blue Room, with a cozy 16-square-meter layout, offers a private bathroom and stunning mountain views. It is ideal for two people, featuring either two twin beds (90 cm each) or a king-size bed.

The Pink Room

The Pink Room offers a peaceful retreat with its 25 square meters of space and a bathroom with a view of the tranquil forest. Perfect for two to three people, the room is furnished with two twin beds (90 cm each) or a king-size bed. Cots are available upon request to accommodate families or small groups.

Additional Accommodation – Cit'Hotel Le National

In addition to our in-house rooms, Sanskriti has partnered with Cit'Hotel Le National, a highly-rated, comfortable hotel located just a 6-minute drive from the retreat center in the charming town of Cluses. The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere and is surrounded by lovely Savoyard boutiques.

For guests staying at the Cit'Hotel, they offer convenient transfer services:

Included excursions

While they do not offer organized excursions, the serene forest surrounding the center provides the perfect opportunity for peaceful walks in nature. Take time to breathe in the fresh mountain air, immerse yourself in the tranquility of the surroundings, and reconnect with yourself. This time in nature is the perfect complement to your yoga practice, fostering deep relaxation and inner peace.

While they encourage you to enjoy the surrounding nature at your leisure, they do not organize group hikes as the primary focus is on maximizing the benefits of the yoga and meditation sessions scheduled in the program. The intention is to provide a well-rounded experience that prioritizes your physical, mental, and spiritual well-being during your stay.

If you want to explore the area, you can extend your stay by a day or two to fully experience the region. They can recommend breathtaking hikes for all levels, and in winter, you can enjoy skiing at resorts just 20 minutes away. For more adventure, visit the charming town of Chamonix or the vibrant city of Geneva, both offering unforgettable experiences.

Sanskriti provides all the necessary materials for the practice such as yoga mats and other equipment, but you are free to bring your own with you.

You can bring a bathing suit, even in winter! Sanskriti have optional cold therapy session that are not mandatory but that they do highly recommend! (only on saturday, but you are free to go whenever you wish to!)

What's not included

  • *Beverages and snacks outside of the planned meals – Coffee, teas, juices, and other foods or drinks not included in the daily offerings are not part of the retreat package. You are encouraged to fully immerse yourself in the nourishing experience that will be provided.
  • *Travel and transfer to the center – Please note that transportation to and from the retreat center is not included. Sanskriti is happy to assist with travel advice or transfers if needed.
  • *Travel insurance – Sanskriti recommends that you arrange your own travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances during your retreat.

Driving Directions from Geneva

  • Take the A40 highway and exit at Exit 18 – Scionzier-Cluses Sardinia
  • After the toll, at the first roundabout, turn right towards Scionzier
  • Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the center

Driving Directions from Chamonix

  • Take the A40 highway and exit at Exit 19 – Cluses
  • At the first roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue Louis Rouxel
  • At the next roundabout, take the third exit onto Mont-Blanc Avenue
  • At the third roundabout, take the third exit onto Avenue de la Colombière / Route des Grandes Alpes
  • After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Rue du Bourg Dehors

Arrival by Train

The closest station is Cluses, located just a few kilometers from Scionzier. Contact Sanskriti in advance, and we will arrange a transfer to pick you up directly from the station. The Geneva Leman Express also stops at Cluses, making it easy to reach us from Geneva.
