Bronwin White

Bronwin took up yoga over 20 years ago in South Africa, her birthplace. She studied in Africa and London with a Sri Lankan master, with whom she practiced intensively for many years. On the recommendation of a friend, she returned to India, and landed at the Yogapoint Institute where she studied. This experience has further enriched her knowledge and my teaching has significantly progressed. Since then, she has returned several times to the institute and have become an official collaborator. It is with great pleasure that she shares her experience and knowledge of yoga in Italy.

I participated in a one week yoga retreat at SankalpaSicily. This week in August is the highlight of my summer. The accommodation was beautiful and clean, the place for practice was great, the food was superb!! But all what I mentioned would not exist without Sara and Francesca. These two beautiful ladies are the heart of SankalpaSicily. Without their incredible enthusiasm, warmth hospitality and passion for life would not be the same!! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is searching for a retreat place

What's not to love about this place? I cannot say, it's absolutely the perfect place for yoga, peace and tranquility in historical surroundings in an agricultural atmosphere surrounded by cows and their offspring, far away from hectic city life but close to the sea and some of the most pitoresque towns with ancient history and the atmosphere that gets to you like only these old towns do. Breathe it in, enjoy the abundance of food grown in Sicilian earth and picked, bought and prepared fresh. And to Sara and Fransesca who do host this unique place and prepare the food themselves, you are genuinely heart driven and complete caretakers of all this. I would love to visit you again
