Expert tip: This is one of the most popular yoga retreats offered in New Zealand.
Here at Sanctuary Hill, they are very passionate about inspiring clients to live in a way that promotes great health! Food plays a huge role in this conversation. Come and join them for a revitalizing and relaxing retreat amid the lush greenery of Taranaki. Learn to cook satisfying, tasty, nutrient-dense food, and learn ways to explore your garden for a fresh meal. Your weekend includes a visit to a garden to introduce basic principles of food production in everyone's back yards. Their guests and visitors frequently ask for the recipes that Ram creates and for further insights on how meals are made in his creative kitchen. During this Retreat, you will spend time in the kitchen to watch behind-the-scenes food selection and preparation with Chef Ram Davies. They have prepared an insightful retreat so they can share all this goodness with you!
Sanctuary Hill provides shared accommodation with two or three guests per room. The maximum number for each group is 12 guests. If you would like a private room, they can offer you a double bedroom during your stay. Their modern luxury bedrooms are equipped with 100 percent cotton linen and towels.
They also have an option for couples to accommodate in a king-size bedroom. They invite their guests to unwind, take a walk, explore the property, read a book from their library, journal, connect with nature and wildlife, and relax in the hot tub.
Sanctuary Hill provides group transportation to enjoy time in nature in a guided group walk in the surrounding areas of Taranaki. Weather permitting, your Saturday Garden outing will be to explore and learn about the different ways we can view our garden for edible plants and grow our food. Suggested things to bring are walking shoes, a small pack, and a water bottle.
