Posada Corazón is an enchanting bed and breakfast in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. It is in a narrow valley, which makes its streets narrow and winding. Most are alleys that cars cannot pass through, and some are long sets of stairs up the mountainsides. Many of the city’s thoroughfares are partially or fully underground. The historic center has numerous small plazas, colonial-era mansions, churches, and civil constructions built using pink or green sandstone.
Start your day with daily transformative yoga classes and meditation, followed by a nutritious breakfast, and then do the activities you wish to be involved in during the day. There are loads of things to do such as reading books, going for walks, exploring architectural details in the area, and relaxing in the leafy courtyards.
All yoga programs are breath-centered and explore the power and connection to our vital energy, known as prana. Although you will find classes to honor all forms of yoga, the primary style we use is Prana Vinyasa Flow.
Enjoy trips to local galleries to explore San Miguel’s thriving international artist community. The most fabulous, Spanish speaking co-host will also be available to help immerse yourself in San Miguel’s historical culture.
Daphne Larkin is an inspired vinyasa flow teacher and yogini based in Nashville, Tennessee. Her work and her life are based in a deep trust in the flow. She is known for the fluid grace of her practice and the balanced nature of her classes, which cultivate deep opening and rooted inner strength. Her fluid sequences and intuitive approach to unlocking the layers of the body help students open to the natural grace and depth of their practice.
San Miguel is known to be the most enchanting town in Mexico. In 2008, UNESCO recognized San Miguel de Allende as a World Heritage of Humanity sites. It is quaint, cosmopolitan, and built for relaxing. With its narrow cobblestone streets, leafy courtyards, fine architectural details, and sumptuous interiors, you will not be disappointed! Ninety percent of the attractions are within walking distance and the city is safe for travelling.

Daily breakfast, coffee, and juice is included in the price of this retreat. You can enjoy your meal in a lovely and authentic bed and breakfast private setting. They offer homemade enchiladas or huevo divorciados and the bread basket with homemade marmalade and honey is divine. There are a lot of bars, cafes, and restaurants nearby that offer Mexican cuisine. Their food is primarily a fusion of indigenous Mesoamerican cooking with European, especially Spanish, elements added after the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire in the 16th century. The staples are native foods, such as corn, beans, avocados, tomatoes, and chili peppers, along with rice which was brought by the Spanish. Europeans introduced a large number of other foods, the most important of which were meats from domesticated animals (beef, pork, chicken, goat, and sheep), dairy products (especially cheese), and various herbs and spices.
For an additional fee, you can go and visit a spa and avail their majestic treatments. There are numerous spas nearby. One of which has a hot spring and waterfalls and a few others with thermal pool. Enjoy a massage and spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the most enchanting place in Mexico.
