Hatha Yoga Retreat in Southern France

This workshop is for people interested in perfecting their yoga skills with a program starting at 07:00 and ending in the evening with a beach outing with practice, paddle, and swimming. During this workshop, you will experience a process of intense practice of Hatha yoga, Qi gong and meditation, yoga philosophy, and live cooking in an Ayurvedic workshop. This workshop is therefore for people who wish to be in a sustained practice. Besides, thanks to the Mediterranean seaside environment and its mild climate until December, the proximity of nature and the sea bursting with light, this is the ideal place to harmonize your body to your mind and reach your optimal physical and mental health. In October, the water is still good for swimming.

You will be accommodated in shared rooms (2 to 3 persons), in classic tents, or in a nicely furnished Berber tent (with mattress, for one to two persons).

Day 6 (October 7) in the afternoon or day 7 (October 8) in the morning are optional.

Nights from day 6 to day 8 (October 7 and 8) at Villa Ataeva cost 70 EUR, including the program on the afternoon of October 7 and the morning of October 8 (plus meals); and if you wish, the day and/or night from October 8 to 9 in the Ashram (about 100 EUR for the weekend).

Retreat location

The unspoiled beaches of this region of the French Riviera, with their calm waters (in the morning in summer / autumn), are ideal for the practice of yoga and SUP yoga.

With its breathtaking view of the bay of Rayol and the islands of Hyères, Villa Ataeva welcomes you in a beautiful natural setting with its 180° view of the sea and a 15-minute walk to the first of many beaches in the area.

Le Rayol-Canadel is a small village between Le Lavandou and Cavalaire-sur-mer where it is possible to see a luxuriant and diversified vegetation (with its famous botanical park "Les Jardins du Rayol"). You can find all the basic shops and restaurants.

Food

Yoga retreat with Ayurvedic diet. You will be offered a cuisine rich in all the elements necessary for the body.

Ayurvedic food has been proven to benefit healing processes and vital energy regeneration.

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Marseille Provence Airport (MRS) or Toulon–Hyères Airport (Hyères Le Palyvestre Airport) (TLN). Airport transfer is not included in the price. The nearest airport is Toulon–Hyères Airport (Hyères Le Palyvestre Airport) (TLN). There is a direct bus from this airport.

Arrival by taxi

Taxis or shared transport can be arranged (price will vary depending on the number of guests; please contact Sana Yoga).

A collective taxi transfer or bus transfer can be organised form Hyères, Toulon and Saint-Raphaël stations.

Arrival by train

Drop-off to the station on Saturday morning can be arranged.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
