Join Samyama Yoga for an exciting yoga retreat in El Nido, Palawan. Fully immerse in nature, deepen your connection to yourself, and find your inner peace through this retreat. Feel the experience of practicing yoga while enjoying a beautiful scenery or magnificent sunset in the evening. After this retreat, you will be able to feel the benefits of yoga in transforming your life and share it to the community.
During the retreat, you will stay at Casa Kalaw in El Nido, Palawan, the Philippines. The price included in this package is an accommodation in a deluxe garden room. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, hot and cold shower, wireless internet, 42-inch cable television, coffee and tea making facilities, safety deposit box and bathroom amenities.
There will be two 90-minute yoga sessions daily and one session on the first and last day in this program. Various yoga styles will be offered throughout, from a flowing Vinyasa sequence to wake you up before breakfast to gentle or Yin or yoga Nidra at sunset to cap the day. Guided pranayama and meditation will also be given to complement your practice.
In this retreat, all levels and abilities are welcome. You can do as little and as much as you like. You also do not have to do any yoga at all. However, please bring your own mats and props.
The first day will be your arrival in El Nido. After getting settled, you will have a yoga session in the afternoon and an included welcome dinner afterwards.
The morning yoga class will be followed by breakfast and free time to do as you like. In the afternoon, you will have a yoga practice and enjoy dinner later on.
This will be your last day in this retreat. Start your day with a morning yoga session. Before departure, there will be a farewell breakfast.
British Wheel of Yoga (Yoga)
Patricia has been a full-time yoga teacher since she completed her 500-hour teacher training course with the Krishnamacharya Healing Yoga Foundation under Marc Beuvain in London. She is also a certified British Wheel of Yoga teacher. She finished the prenatal yoga foundation course with Birthlight in 2010 and a year later, the mother and baby yoga integrated course with Yogacampus and Sitaram Partnership. She is qualified as a children's yoga teacher through YogaBugs and Yoga'd Up. Patricia has recently been certified to share the benefits of Yin yoga.
This retreat will be held at Casa Kalaw in El Nido's Lio Tourism Estate, an ecologically-sustainable tourism destination and your home in the most beautiful island in the world! You will be in Palawan, voted "The Top Island in the World" by Conde Nast Traveler's readers. Also known as The Last Frontier, it is simply the most beautiful place on earth.
El Nido is a municipality on Palawan Island. It is known for its white-sand beaches, coral reefs, and as the gateway to the Bacuit archipelago, a group of islands with steep karst cliffs.
During this retreat, you will have daily breakfast included in the package. Lunch and dinner are at your own expense.
Please book your flight to arrive at El Nido Airport (ENI). Transfer from and to this airport is available upon request. The fastest and most direct way is to fly from Manila to El Nido. The flight takes about one hour.
If you take a bus, there are buses from Puerto Princesa to El Nido which run every day. The ride will take about six to eight hours.
