This is real adventure through Cuba's cities, which needs to be seen to be believed. Yoga sessions, with a tinge of spirituality and mindfulness, offered once a day except on first and last day as you travel through Havana, Vinales, Trinidad, and Cayo Santa Maria Island. Hatha flow to wake you up in the morning and a gentle or yin yoga to cap the day. Guided meditation and pranayama complement the practice.
Note: US citizens need to secure a general license to travel.
Staying in a family home (casa particular) is, hands down, the best way to meet local people and get a feel for Cuban hospitality. Breakfast is included.
While on Cayo Santa Maria, you will stay in in an all-inclusive resort, which has lots of atmosphere and the cabanas are situated close to the beach. The accommodation is based on full-board, so breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included during your stay.
Old Havana, its crowning glory, is a spellbinding muddle of crumbling colonial mansions, shady plazas, cobbled streets, and laundry-strewn balconies. Brightly colored vintage Buicks line the pavements and salsa music drifts through the alleyways. It’s like a step back in time.
Beyond Havana, Trinidad - a UNESCO World Heritage colonial town is sensual and high-spirited where bands strike up in the streets and rowdy hole-in-the-wall rum bars stay open far into the night. You will have an optional bici-taxi (bicycle taxi) tour.
Rolling through tobacco fields in Vinales, where you could go horseback riding or hiking through the hills or visit a cigar factory and plantation. Afterward, you will visit the scenic viewpoint at Hotel Jazmines which overlooks the Vinales Valley.
Then getting back to the beautiful bare necessities on castaway Cayo Santa Maria island connected to the mainland through a bridge. With swaying palms, snow-white sand and sapphire waters, it’s no frills, no fuss, and no worries all the way. You will stay in an all-inclusive resort which has lots of atmospheres and the cabanas are situated close to the beach. The accommodation is based on full board - breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included during your stay.
