Join Samyama Yoga for an exciting yoga retreat in Kerala, India. Discover India's quiet side in Kerala. Fully immersed in nature, deepen your connection to yourself, and find your inner peace through this retreat. With plenty of free time, enjoy practicing yoga or take a trip to explore the surrounding areas. With its laid-back attitude and slower pace of life, this is somewhere you can take a deep breath and relax.
During the retreat, you will stay in four or five-star hotels. In addition, you will also have a single private room in the retreat center.
Various styles of yoga will be offered throughout the retreat. There will be a flowing Vinyasa sequence to wake you up before breakfast and gentle or Yin yoga at sunset to cap the day. Guided pranayama and meditation will also be given to complement your practice.
In this retreat, all levels and abilities are welcome. You can do as little and as much as you like. You also do not have to do any yoga at all. However, please bring your own mats and props.
Arrive in Cochin. You can spend the rest of the day at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.
Transfer to the yoga and Ayurveda retreat center for a nourishing and authentic experience of philosophy and spirituality. Each person will have a single room. Organic and vegetarian full board meals are included. The yoga sessions will be delivered by local teachers.
There will be four hours of yoga practice, attend a yoga philosophy lecture, and receive an Ayurvedic massage or treatment.
Transfer to Munnar and check in to the hotel.
You are free to choose the option to take a half-day sightseeing tour of Munnar, visiting The Tata Tea Museum (at an extra cost) before spending the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Transfer to Thekkady and check in to the hotel.
You are free to choose the option to take a guided walk through a spice plantation or visit the elephants of Periyar National Park (at an extra cost). Other suggested activities include trekking, visiting the Periyar Tiger Reserve, taking a bullock cart ride to the nearby villages, climbing into a jeep and heading to the exotic locale of Gavi, or going on a nature walk (at an extra cost). Overnight at the hotel.
Transfer to Alleppey and board a Ketuvallam (rice boat). Cruise the backwaters of Kerala and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner on board. Overnight on the Ketuvallam.
Transfer to Cochin and check in to the hotel to spend some time at leisure. You are free to take the option to take a half-day sightseeing tour of Cochin, taking in the Jewish Synagogue, the Chinese fishing nets, and St Francis Church before settling down to a Kathakali Dance show (at an extra cost). Overnight at hotel.
Catch your flight home.
Included in this package is a cruise in the backwaters of Kerala.
This yoga holiday will be held in Kerala, India. Kerala is a state on India's tropical Malabar Coast. It is known for its palm-lined beaches and backwaters, a network of canals, a tropical paradise of waving palms, and wide sandy beaches. It is a narrow strip of coastal territory that slopes down the Western Ghats in a cascade of lush green vegetation and reaches to the Arabian Sea.
During the retreat, you will also visit some places in Kerala such as Cochin, Munnar, Thekaddy, and Alleppey.

During the program, you will be served daily breakfast in four or five-star hotels as well as organic and vegetarian full board meals in the retreat center and on the houseboat.
On day three, you will get one Ayurvedic massage or treatment.
