Yoga and detoxification go hand in hand. The word yoga means union hence, yoga helps to bring union or balance to the whole being; bringing harmony to mind, body and spirit. The gentle stretching postures will pump the lymph through the system, assisting the free circulation of blood, without causing any muscular tension and without saturating the tissues with lactic acid or overloading the blood with carbon dioxide.
The gentle movements will help bring your body into alignment, improve circulation and encourage the elimination of toxins. Specific postures will be used to massage the internal organs, ensuring optimum blood supply to all parts of the body. You will also learn breathing techniques that help to bring more oxygen to the lungs which in turn assists in the removal of cellular waste and toxic matter.
You will practice the detox yoga in conjunction with slow, deep rhythmic breathing that fully engages the diaphragm. The combination of slow stretching and loosening maneuvers with deep diaphragmatic breathing drives blood and lymph through the body like a strong pump, facilitating rapid drainage of toxins from tissues and swift delivery of wastes to the eliminatory organs. Deep breathing greatly enhances oxygenation of the blood and tissues, which helps neutralize acidosis and maintains a healthy alkaline environment inside the body.
Meditation is an approach that anyone can use to help them cope with stress, anxiety and medical problems by way of thought, contemplation, and reflection. During the guided meditations you will simply practice focusing your attention on a particular object generally something simple, like a word or phrase, a candle flame or geometrical figure or the coming and going of your breath.

Arrival by airplane
Depending upon your destination of origin, you will first need to book an international flight to:
Bangkok, Singapore or Hong Kong. Then you will need to catch a connecting flight to Koh Samui. Bangkok Air and Thai Airways are the only two airlines that offer flights into Koh Samui and you can either book this flight via your local travel agent or by visiting their independent websites
Arrival by bus and ferry
The Bangkok to Samui buses leave from the southern terminal in Bangkok. There are V.I.P, First and Second-class buses. These are all air-conditioned. For an easier journey, buy a bus / boat combination ticket. Note, the buses are often delayed and cannot to be relied upon, especially if you are making a connection for a flight on your return. The journey takes around 12 hours.
Arrival by train
There are many trains running throughout the day from Bangkok to Surat Thani and return. The Surat Thani train station is about an hour from the ferry pier where you catch the boat to Koh Samui. You will need transportation from the railway station to the pier. The most popular trains are the sleeper trains where you travel at night and arrive in Surat Thani in the morning.
Any travel agent in Bangkok can book a ticket for you that will include train, bus and boat, to Koh Samui. Prices will vary depending on the class of train travel i.e. 1st, 2nd or 3rd. All trains run from Hualamphong Station.
