What do you get when you combine daily cooking classes, hikes, and practicing yoga outside at a beautiful eco retreat? The best vacation of your life! Samatahiti has brought together the most celebrated chefs in town to lead a variety of cooking classes for you each night. You will also explore the island by hiking some of the most beautiful spots in Porta del Sol, Puerto Rico, including a tour of a coffee plantation, ending with a tasting. In the morning, you will practice yoga on the treetop yoga deck, and at night, you will fall asleep to the sounds of the coqui and the crashing waves in a luxury bell tent.
Our premier eco retreat center is located in the Puntas neighborhood of Rincon. You will stay in your own private jungle oasis within walking distance to beaches, restaurants and shops. Our accommodations are in brand new bamboo casitas with floating roofs and oversized decks where you can relax in your hammock, all of which are on raised decks, and have their own private, separate bathrooms, with incredible outdoor showers. Each casita is equipped with 3 twin beds, an areal to relax and private safe boxes for each person.
There is also a gathering tent to an oversized casita with room for everyone to gather to recap your day, plug into the wifi, listen to some music or just lay back and relax
Daily hikes include local beach cliff hikes, cave hikes, and waterfall hikes, all of them with spectacular views.
Rincon, Puerto Rico
Your cooking class each day will serve as your dinner, except for the last day when class will be a brunch. There is a grill and small refrigerator for everyone to use in case you want to cook other meals as well. In the morning coffee and a light, healthy breakfast, such as a yogurt parfait or tropical fruit salad will be available. We will be stopping after our hikes to get lunch at different spots.
When you are not hiking, cooking, or practicing yoga you can walk to the beach, take a swim, or arrange to rent a paddle board, go for a surf lesson,or set up a massage. Often there is live music in town so don't forget the option to dance at night after your cooking class
Massages can be arranged
