17 Days 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in Puerto Rico

Yoga Teacher Training in Puerto Rico

This intensive teacher training will prepare you to teach a strong, safe, core-based Power yoga class. With lots of emphasis on alignment and the benefits and risk of each asana, you will learn to lead your students into a much deeper, stronger asana, and at the same time keep them safe from injury. You will learn about each asana, why they are sequenced the way they are, what are the benefits and contraindications of each posture, and more than one way to enter the posture. You will learn how to theme your classes, apply the teaching of the sutras into your classes as well as your daily life. Learn to lead and benefit from meditation.

Each day, you will go through detailed anatomy of the postures included in that days Vinyasa. There will be options so that your class reflects your personality and what you want to share with your students. The sutra studies are in-depth - it is not about memorizing the names, you will apply the sutras to your life. Each day will include time for you to practice so that you can feel the flow in your body, and time for you to practice teaching.
