Samadi Bali is a place for daily yoga classes, yoga teacher trainings, holiday retreats, accommodation, healthy vegetarian food, & holistic wellness treatments.
Andrea’s yoga journey started in 2003 in Barcelona, practicing in an old warehouse under her then teacher, Diane Bell. During this time, the practice was very on and off as she was busy running her business and also her Spanish lifestyle was very challenging to fit in with yoga. In 2006, she decided to take this practice more serious and to the next level. She headed for Mysore India and became a life-changing experience.
Damien de Bastier has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 25 years. It was love at first stretch when he was introduced to the Ashtanga practice in 1998, as it combines his inclination for sports, meditation, and self-inquiry. As an authorized Ashtanga teacher, his intention is to preserve the gifts of the Ashtanga method as they have been transmitted to him by his teachers.
Melissa started her yoga journey in 2006 in southern California, and yoga immediately became a staple in her life. Since then, she has been continuously studying yoga, attending teacher trainings, and maintaining a steady self-practice. Melissa is a teacher and practitioner of many forms of yoga including Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Prenatal, and Restorative. She has made several trips to India to study yoga, breathing techniques, yogic philosophy, and Ayurveda. Melissa studied Ayurveda extensively under Dr. Madan Kumar, MD (Professor at Pankaja Kasthuri Ayurvedic College) in Trivandrum, India.
Abdi followed his heart and calling beginning his yoga journey at sea with determination and discipline to attain a spiritual practice. His inspiration and practice stemmed from BKS Iyengar’s book titled “The path of Holistic Healing”. BKS Iyengar guided him in his studies and practice on board luxury cruise ships where Abdi was working throughout the world. After almost 4 years of self-study, Abdi settled on land and introduced himself to a variety of yoga teachings. In 2006, Abdi began sharing his love for yoga, teaching in private villas and resorts, and leading several yoga retreats.

"A little escape into paradise"
Samadi Bali is simply your home away from home. The ideal place to unwind, disconnect from it all and detox. It only takes you five minutes into the onboarding with Suvi to realize that you stepped into paradise. Yoga, food, massages, personalized treatments and location....just perfection! Not to mention all the staff, smiling and loving people that take good care of you.

Quality of yoga, food and accomodation, but most of all the people who work there are really kind and helpful. The place was nice to meet lots of other yogi’s. I also really liked the sundaymarket and the workshop meditation.

"Nice and authentic if you like individual flexible retreats"
The yoga teachers were great, the place was a really authentic yoga place. The accommodation / my room was great. Suvi, who was responsible for welcoming newcomers was very nice and friendly. The staff in Samadi To was very friendly and were providing good service. The overall ambiance was easy-going and very appropriate for a yoga center. I would like to return here, it was too short.
