A retreat designed to explore the body's wisdom through yoga, biodanza, and body expression, and the best way possible, near the ocean! To tune into the organic wave's rhythm, in a dance where the mind is silenced to set the soul free. The retreat will take place in front of the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve (the largest marine wildlife reserve in continental Chile), in Punta de Choros. A picturesque cove, famous for hosting the world's southernmost colony of bottlenose dolphins. Also recognized for being an excellent place for whale watching and diving excursions, where you can see exotic marine species such as the rare moonfish. You will marvel at the wildlife and vegetation of the Pacific Ocean while you rest in the comfortable Kunza Kamanchacos Domes, located a few meters from white sand beaches and turquoise waters. You will perform five yoga practices in the styles of Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative yoga. In addition, you will participate in a class of biodanza and two body expression workshops to connect with your emotions through music, movement, and group energy. During your free time, you will be able to do many optional activities such as traveling 1,800 meters of coastline, diving, surfing in Playa Los Changos. Or take a massage or a boat ride through Isla Damas and Chañaral, and admire closely the largest marine reserve in continental Chile, including the Fin Whale, the second largest on the planet.
The Kunza Kamanchacos Domes are located 500 meters north of the San Agustín cove in Punta de Choros, in a tourist complex that will allow you to return to the simple and disconnect from the city. Here, you can enjoy the charms of the area such as white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, pleasant climate, and starry skies at night. The complex has comfortable domes of two floors, seven meters in diameter and 36 square meters.
Each of them was built with German canvases, which insulate both cold and heat, and is equipped with bedding sheets, crockery, water dispenser, fridge bar, gas grill, private bathroom, towels, hairdryer, and terrace. Kunza Kamanchacos Domes has exclusive access to the beach, viewpoints, private parking and solar lighting that will allow you to appreciate the stars without light pollution.
Javiera is a social communicator and publisher, WFR-certified guide, and certified Jyotim yoga instructor with more than 10 years of experience teaching Jyotim, Vinyasa, and Hatha yoga. In addition to yoga, she has other great passions which are nature and outdoor sports. She participates in yoga, food, and nature retreats as the organizer, yoga instructor, and trekking guide. She has trained with important professors such as Karen O'Bannon, Renato Turla, Sharat Arora, José María Vigar, Ramiro Calle, Emma Marín and Valeria Schneider (India, Spain, and Chile).
In 1994, he began his studies of osteopathy, starting in this method that treats diseases based on massage and manipulation of joints. Later, he specialized in Tuina massage, a therapeutic method of Traditional Chinese Medicine that combines massage maneuvers, mobilizations, acupressure, tractions, and manipulations. Antonio also knows the techniques of reiki and bonanza. In addition, he has been a yoga instructor since 1997 and a theatre teacher since 2004.
The retreat begins in the town of Punta de Choros, located in the IV Region of Coquimbo. The distance from Santiago city is 580 kilometers and 110 kilometers from La Serena city. One hundred kilometers north of La Serena city and in front of the Humboldt Penguin National Reserve, Punta de Choros is located.
This is a town that was born as a small cove of artisanal fishermen and that today is famous for housing the southernmost colony of bottlenose dolphins in the world. The Humboldt Penguin National Reserve is also recognized as an excellent place for whale watching and diving excursions, where exotic marine species such as the rare moonfish can be seen.
During this retreat, you will be served daily breakfast at the dome included in the price. Each fridge bar will be stocked with bread, cereals, butter, coffee, tea, fruits, milk, yogurt, and others so that participants can prepare their breakfast. Every night, it is possible to make a dinner reservation at the Chatito Nias Restaurant (only one and a half kilometers from the Kunza Kamanchacos). The typical menu costs 7,000 CLP and includes empanada, fish, salad, drink, and dessert which is not included in the price.
During your free time, you will be able to do optional activities such as a 1,800-meter long tour where 59 species of vascular plants live or silently paddling with sea lions and bottlenose dolphins or boat trips to Isla Damas to see a colony of penguins. In addition, it will be possible to arrange massage and Reiki sessions in the domes. Optional activities are not included in the price of the program and must be coordinated directly with the organizers.

Participants who do not travel by car may arrive by bus from La Serena, where there is a regular shuttle service departing from Avenue Francisco de Aguirre 340 at 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 2:50 p.m. (4,500 CLP per person). La Serena can be reached by bus to the city's bus terminal, located at Amunategui 107, or by plane to La Florida International Airport, located 6 kilometers east of the city.
