Could not have been better! Fantastic instructor - Tanny, who helped me start out on headstands and handstands, as well as being excellent at explaining everything. The mix of different yoga styles was perfect, all the classes managed to fit me as well as my boyfriend despite our entirely different skill level. Even though I was not a fan of meditation and practicing my breath before, Tanny managed to make it interesting and enjoyable (and we could chant with her, something I would have never done at my regular yoga classes). Tanny went above and beyond when it came to activities, she took us out for sunset and sunrise yoga at the beach as well as for two visits to a temple. We managed to experience real meditation at the temple with the monks (which was amazing considering we have been practicing at classes earlier) and then we returned in the morning for the food offering ceremony and were invited to eat with everyone later. Simply an amazing experience that you just wouldn't get anywhere else. The food was absolutely amazing, without a problem they managed to cater vegan as well. The staff also booked us a scooter and even gave us a lift to the pier at the end of our trip.

"Peaceful and quiet place with lovely people"
I really enjoyed my stay at samadee yoga! It starts with the so anxious and attentive staff, the place itself, the clean and comfortable rooms, the REALLY good food and finally the Yogateacher Tanny, who offered us so many aktivities and nice Yogalessons. Thank you so much for everything!!!

"AMAZING retreat... A LIFE experience. MORE than recommended"
This was not a simple retreat. This was like a small family. Considering the practical and "material" aspects, accommodation was great, clean, fresh towels, room cleaned everyday; food was incredibly good, always fresh, very abundant, healthy and home-cooked with love. The complex is nice and beautifully located in the nature.
But besides these aspects, the experience was unbelievably powerful, authentic and true. I felt immediately at home with Tanny and everyone else. The classes are tailored basing on the group, the group's energy, the expertise, the desires to explore certain poses instead of others. We would always start with a small meditation, a mantra sang all together, and then practice yoga in an easy, natural and pleasant way. I would more than recommend this retreat to everyone who wants to have a TRUE life experience in contact with locals and gain a deeper look into Yoga and the Thai culture as well.

Samadee Yoga was a very pleasant place. Quite small so that there is not much going on at the area which was i was looking for. Tanny was so sweat and she is very good at assisting you for your next level. Food is very very good. Everyone in the venue is very helpful and nice. Thank you:)

"Very nice yoga retreat "
All the yoga instructors are very friendly. Vegetarian food provided was tasty, esp the soup!!! Food, tea, drinking water are all included. You don’t need to worry about anything.
Yoga lessons were very good too!! I trained more than I expected. It’s a very peaceful and relaxing place to escape from the busy city life.

"Lovely retreat! Strongly recommend."
I really enjoyed this retreat. Everything was perfect for me, and I would definitely recommend it. Classes were professional, small, pretty evenly balanced between mediation and yoga, and suitable for all levels (attendees while I was there were beginner to intermediate, and they easily adjust to student levels). Location is a 5 min tuktuk or car from Aonang Beach. It's tucked away in a quieter area which is peaceful and not touristy. Rooms were comfortable, clean, tasteful, with great wifi and a/c. Food was simple, tasty and plentiful. Service was kind, attentive, and personal. Tanny who is a partner and runs the yoga side is very thoughtful and genuine. I enjoyed meeting her, the staff, and the other guests who were all friendly. It feels like a family there.
For reference - I'm a female solo traveller, mid-30s, american, and spent many years traveling and living in the APAC region. I'm athletic, but a very casual intermediate level in yoga (headstands are easy, just started working on a pincha at Samadee). I've been to other retreats, and to Thailand many times. This stands out as a great experience. My yoga and meditation definitely improved. Laid back, genuinely nice people, great classes and ample personal time in the afternoons and evenings. I attended all sessions and enjoyed the variety and locations for both beach yoga and the beautiful onsite shala. I recommend it and would rebook it in the future.

"A lovely week"
The retreat was brilliant. I loved the food, the accommodation and the people. I am a beginner with yoga but the classes catered for all levels. We were made to feel like family! Thanks for a fantastic 5 days.

My yoga retreat was in February 2019. It was my first yoga retreat and I would say it was an amazing experience. I practiced yoga before in some fitness center but it was nothing in comparison with the yoga lessons here! The teachers especially Tanny are much more than professionals, it is their passion to teach and, also, share with you positive energy! They teach deep yoga understanding not only poses but meditation and how to breathe etc. There are many different classes. I highly recommend to try them all. My retreat was during 5 days. I got what i was looking for . It was a relief, a relief of stress, i became more calm. I started to feel all my body like never before and the most important thing is that I found the peace inside myself.
The vegetarian food that they offer was very delicious, I have never tried something like that before.
The accomodation is good because Aonang is noisy, here is silent only sounds of some birds and animals. It is a good natural place that helps you to meditate and practice.
I really fell in love with this place and attitude of all people who work here, so I would highly reccommend to do a yoga retreat here!

"A memorable journey"
We adored the place, the rythme, the yoga lessons, the shuttle once a day to the village.
We enjoyed the food, it was everyday different, every day delicious !!! Thank you Wuan!!! We were spoiled :) we're taken care of and that felt wonderful. The yoga on the beach was amazing and the many talks you can have with the teachers were very awakaning. We loved it so much, we stayed one more day. We definitively wish to go back.

My friend and I expected to have some yoga classes in a peaceful environment and that is exactly what we got (2 to 3 classes a day), and more. The place looks very nice and clean, we had a big private room which looks so nice. The people are really friendly and will help you with anything. We had lovely breakfasts and (amazing!) diners. Met the most lovely people and together with really good yoga classes this week has been an experience to always remember!! Would love to come back sometimes. Thanks to all the staff and especially Tanny.

"Great getaway - really recommend"
The stay at Samadee Yoga was just amazing. The team is lovely and attentively, the location is very new and clean, the food is delicious and local, they provide water, fruit and snacks all day.
The changing yoga classes were fitting for every level, they changed from yoga on the beautiful terrace in the jungle to beach yoga. All in all it was just excellent, I extended my stay because I liked it so much! Thank you for everything!

"Recharging succeeded: Samadee Yoga exceeded my expectations!"
I took part in the Yoga Retreat for three days and it was the perfect occasion for me to recharge some energy after a couple of weeks traveling! It's been the first time for me to do a Yoga Retreat and Samadee Yoga exceeded my expectations. The yoga classes as well as the accommodation plus the food were amazing! Everybody was super friendly and helpful all the time and the main goal of finding time for myself and calming down was definitely met! I can't wait to come back at some point and highly recommend Samadee Yoga Retreat! Thanks for the great time. :-)

The energy of the place is superb! Surrounded by nature, it enables you to connect with your body, mind and environment in a very harmonic way. The food is the best I've tried in Thailand, all healthy and vegetarian/vegan, depending on your choice. I recommend it without any reservations.

"I've had the best time at Samadee Yoga!"
Clean rooms, quiet place, the food is the best and prepared especially for you twice a day, daily room service and shuttle to Ao Nang beach, excellent teachers (even if you're not a yoga pro like me), nice cats, fruits and water all day.
It's the perfect place if you're seeking some time off! I would definitely recommend!

"First yoga retreat at Samadee"
I spent 5 days at Samadee and by the end felt so peaceful and relaxed. It was a wonderful and intense retreat, even better than I'd expected. The yoga classes (3 each day) were never the same, but very challenging and inspiring. After 2 days, all my muscles were stiff. After 3 days, the pain was suddenly gone and my body had not felt that light, relaxed, strong and flexible in years. The classes included pranayama, vinyasa, hatha, meditation, yin yoga, as well as blind yoga and yoga on the beach. :)
We also visited a temple and tried some Thai dancing, which was great fun.
The food was excellent: always fresh, healthy, and super tasty. The owner even cooked herself. We had breakfast and dinner but also fresh fruits, snacks, water, tea and coffee (really good one!) whenever we liked.
My room and the lounge had just been finished when I arrived, and it was just beautiful. I really liked the ambience. Last but not least: everyone at Samadee was very kind and open-hearted. They love to share their passion for yoga, their experiences and philosophy, you can feel that. It's an inspiration.
Thanks to everyone at Samadee for the amazing time!

"Super yoga classes and relax in the nature"
Tanny and her team are all very skilled teachers, always smiling and ready to give useful suggestions, I had chance to try diverse yoga lessons as hata, vinyasa, yin and go deeper with meditation. Classes are held in a beautiful space full of sunlight and with jungle view or on the beach at sunset/sunrise. Hometel is not big and classes are in small group, perfect place to chill out and relax. Fresh and healty food, the staff was kind and helpful, it was a super good experience!

"Genuine yoga practice in an amazing place!"
On the jungle border, the center is a very beautiful and peaceful place where one can admire a wonderful vegetation and listen to birds from the mat.
In addition to their deep knowledge, the teachers are lovely and truly careful to each yogi.
Everybody at Samadee have been very nice and attentive to the needs of retreat people. The food was super fresh and yummy.... Perfect combo for a great and effective time to reset the mind and the body!
