Ayahuasca schedule

Sacred Journeys offers Ayahuasca healing ceremonies during retreats. The diet and activities will be adjusted around the ceremonies. They will be sharing information about the medicine work prior to participating in a ceremony and they will also be offering support and integration circles after the work, if necessary.

You will journey safely and well in the Sacred Valley. The facilitators are very experienced and are good musicians as well. This work is held in a very safe and beautiful space with the beautiful mountains of the Sacred Valley surrounding the place. Many people seek to heal and free themselves from physical ailments as well.

This is a time when you will be blessed with the possibility to heal ailments quicker than ever. You are in a time of quick transformations and mass consciousness shifts. How these shifts are experienced depends on how much baggage and limiting patterns people still hold unto.

The indigenous people of Peru are masters in plant medicine and the knowledge has been brought on from generation to generation. They know so much about the plants in the jungle and what each one is useful for. The medicine work is done with the grandmother.

The ceremonies offered will happen in the evening througout the night and is a highly transformative experience. You do not need to have attended one before in order to participate. Beautiful music is played throughout the night and a special space is held. The medicine is known to help to heal addictions, psychic illnesses, physical illnesses or imbalances, and clear out anything that needs clearing and healing at this time.

It is recommended and important to look at what areas of your life you would like healing and set the intention before this work. The diet will be suited to this work a couple of days before and the day after. Being in the powerful mountains of the Sacred Valley will be very supportive of this work.

Vegan cooking courses

Sacred Journeys offers vegan cooking courses where you can learn how to make your own yummy and healthy vegan cooked and raw food. They teach dishes that are very tasty and healthy and often missed in a vegan diet. You will never feel bored eating plant-based foods again.

Learn how to make meals such as vegan cheese that melts and slices, a variety of vegan milks, the best vegan milkshake, vegan bread spreads, the best ever vegan pancakes, sauerkraut from scratch which is great for your stomach and full of probiotics, raw vegan cheese cake, the best veggie burgers, raw chocolate, and a lot more.

Yoga and meditation

You will be able to attend yoga class every morning on this trip. The form of yoga that is taught is from the eight limbed tradition, Rajadhiraja yoga. It comes closer to classical, effective yoga asanas that are relaxing and stimulates and massages the glands in the body. Angel will teach yoga asanas that will suit everyone and that you can learn and practice on your own too.

In the classes, you will do warm ups, yoga asanas, yoga massage, and deep guided relaxation. The yoga form is deep, gentle, and very effective. Angel will guide the meditation and will also teach a mantra.

You will also learn shielding and grounding and you will meditate together which strenghthens the effects of meditation. Some of the benefits of meditation are: it relaxes the mind and body deeply and it calms the breath and blood pressure and helps the balance of melatonin in the pineal gland.

Meditation is a healing where you can relax much deeper and get in touch with your core and heart. It is an ancient art practiced in many parts of the planet. Meditation can improve memory and give clarity of mind. It is very recommended. You will start every day with meditation before the yoga class and end the day with a meditation before dinner. It will also improve your sleep.

Sacred Journeys hopes this trip can be deeply transformative and bring something new and very positive into your life. Please note that you do not need to have practiced yoga and meditation in order to attend and you do not need to attend all classes but it is very recommended. It is also said that regular yoga and meditation practices prevent diseases and aging and it reduces stress.

Anybody can pratice yoga and meditation. Sacred Journeys will also adjust the classes to the group. In addition, they will follow a healthy yogic, vegetarian or vegan diet with many salads and smoothies on the tour. This will help in meditation and also the healing work. You are of course allowed to buy other food on your own on the trip and skip a yoga class if you need to but it is recommended that you partake.

Review by Wendellen Li from Colombia

CONS Cons: Angel is disorganized, lacking in leadership, and puts her own desires before needs of the group. Everything happened hours after they were supposed to, we spent more time in transit or waiting around than meditating/yoga or seeing sights. We almost missed border crossing to Bolivia because people were buying crystals and Angel did nothing to hurry the group—in fact she wanted to meditate longer at the portal. At border crossing, all the other groups had been given papers to fill out beforehand, Angel gave us nothing. Americans had to go back the next morning to pay the $160USD visa, and Angel got upset that they were missing morning meditation to take care of their visa. It should have been made clear that there'd be an additional $160USD since it's only for 3 days in Bolivia and significantly increases the cost of the retreat. But she just said "oh maybe you'll have to pay a visa fee." She does not know how to prioritize, she does not care about the well-being of the group. She is obsessed with money and herself, not helping people. An 18-year-old girl was hospitalized the day before the retreat but when she showed up Angel did not even ask how she was doing. I've talked with people in Pisac as well, the town she lives in, and they've had bad business experiences with her, find her manipulative and fake, literally their words, which I can vouch for. Stay far away from this retreat and this person. By the end of the retreat, we were staying on Isla Del Sol in a hostel with no water at all, and she asked us to vote on what to do—this is what I mean by she doesn't want to take responsibility for anything. She's always blaming others...we are running late because someone was slow or had altitude sickness...it's the hotels fault...vote and make a group decision so it's not my fault what happens...Of course the group fell apart once we tried to vote. People who wanted to leave still left, and only 5 people stayed. I heard it fell apart even more for those people, as she wanted to stay on the other Island to meditate longer so they missed the last boat back to shore. This what I mean by she puts herself before others. Very selfish. Worst experience ever.

PROS Pros: Some of the other people at the retreat were nice and we became friends, especially since what we had to endure bonded us.

Organizer response: Thank you for the feedback! I'm very sorry you experienced the retreat this way. I don't recognise what you write.I always do my best to create the most magical and beautiful experiences, and I do the work from my heart and soul with the highest intentions! I do my best to solve any challenges that may arise. During retreats, I work from 5 am- 10 pm, and before, days/weeks. The costs of these rereats are low, our profit low and most money is given to our charity. Our aim is to serve and give as many as possible the chance to part-take, we don't want economy to hinder. All received emails prior to retreat with Info on visas, itinerary, packing list etc. You all received a book with info as well as information after each class and during meals. It's adviced to keep oneself informed, read and keep the book given, and follow instructions.  You were informed that the timings in the programme is a frame and the timing can be flexible due to unforeseen events, local culture, big group, altitude, to avoid stress etc. I've worked as volunteer since 1998 in Ananda Marga ( anandamarga.org ), for Amma (09-.Amma.org), Center For Soul Evolution ( soulevolution.org, 2012),.And my charity Mother Earth (2014). Much of my life is about service to all creation. Completion of soul mission...And I love it! I've had clients for healing, yoga & homeopathy since 2002. Happy clients from around the world! Check: www.yogaandhealing.weebly.com. You never had a session with me, so you can't know how the healing is!! People with different backgrounds, age, health and expectations attend the retreats. Some want to meditate & connect  more in sacred sites, some want more alone- time, etc. We do our best to accommodate all. Each person is creating the retreat together with me and co-workers. It's different each time, and we always learn. And I believe participants learn as well! We're all holding space, and need to be compassionate and respectful to each other. And its very is important to respect indigenous culture and way and standard of living. We traveled by private boats, and no boats were missed.  The 18- year old was taken care of by our travel assistant and given a new bus ticket for free, had free pick up to hotel, was warmly welcomed by the group and me, who was very happy she was well. Border forms are property of immigration, and only available to the big trans- border bus companies, and we are not one of those! Finally, Sacred Journeys is not responsible for political conflicts, strikes, wars, floods, droughts, flight cancellations etc. Thereby not responsible for the conflict between the communities in Island Of The Sun, as well as the drought there. We're very sorry for that situation which made us have to change the accommodation and programme on very short notice. You were all informed. All tourists and locals were in the same situation We thank everyone for the understanding and patience while the accommodation and programme had to be rearranged due to this unexpected situation. And we send our apologizes for the unexpected conflict and situation which affected the flow of the retreat. We also send our prayers to the communities at the sacred island to find a peaceful solution.  It was a special situation, which had never happened before. Safety comes first, so it was wise to take the advice of the locals. We know that nothing happens without Divine Plan, and that it happens for reasons. It is all about growth and learning,  it may seem tough from a human perspective, but from the  soul perspective, it is perfect, and we have chosen it. We have so much to be thankful for!  Next retreats happens only in Peru side of the lake. Wish you blessed travels and a good life! In love and service, Angel

"I have been in retreat with Angel, and I am very happy."

"I am really disagree with the review above."

"I felt well taken care of and was well informed prior to the retreat over email, and I felt that she helped me with all information and knowledge about what I needed to know before traveling. We had a skype consultation prior to the retreat, and it was very satisfactory, I could ask about anything I needed to before the trip."

"We all need to take responsibility before traveling to get informed about visas etc. I had a good feeling about her retreat, and had heard warm recommendations about her aherlightwork. The retreat was according to my expectations and was very exicting and full of adventures. The meditations were powerful and I reeived much support around my expeiernces. I participated in all classes to not miss out on anything, and I followed instuctions that were given. The yoga did me very well, and I felt that my needs were taken care of. I understood that she is very dedicated in her work and does it from her heart. I had a healing session with her with a very good result. She worked hard from morning to evening to take care of the group, and solved challenges well, so it didn't affect the group. We had a fantastic shamanic guide in the sacred inka sites, who took us on deep journey with ancient techniques. The good and the experiences were fantastic and I will keep this in my heart and never forget it! I felt that I got much back for the money, ad can warmly recommend Angels retreats. I am already planning my next visit!"

The schedule include much of meditation, visit to beautiful and mesmerizing & unbelievable places that makes your heart get engaged in a self change process. Angel did her best from organizing the retreat to hive attention to little details and guided the group with a lovely spirit. At first I need more yoga though with the hiking, walking and many actives I enjoyed and worked out in nature."

"Angel is one of the most dedicated spiritual teachers I have ever encountered. Her commitment to healing humanity and this planet is her full-time occupation and most definitely her calling and life's mission. She is clearly guided, intuitive, and transcendent and her connection to both land and spirit is absolutely palpable in her presence. I am grateful to have a connection with her and to receive constant blessings from this earth angel; I feel and see the manifestation of them regularly. "

"I sincerely recommend her work if you are in need of spiritual assistance in any regard, whether it be land-healing, space-clearing, cord-cutting, ceremonies, or personal spiritual guidance and blessings. I thank Angel for the work she does and you will too! "

"This retreat was an amazing experience. I was looking to find myself and learn to feel love from within instead of searching for love from others. The mediation and yoga really helped me look within. I not only found the beauty in myself but how to see the beauty in others. The vegan diet was hard at first but really changed the way I felt. In the end all the teachings the diet and lessons came together and helped me truly free happy. Very life changing. Angel is very caring and I truly feel like her goal is to help people. "My husband and I recently returned from the 12-day vegan, yoga, meditation retreat led by Angel in Peru. There were so many wonderful things about the trip, I don't know where to start. The vegan meals and cooking classes were great. Raphaella is the chef who prepares most of the vegan meals for the retreat, and she is very happy to share the recipes for her delicious creations. The tour includes all of the major Inca ruins in that area. Machu Picchu is, of course, the most well-known and it was spectacular, but the Pisac ruins and the Ollantaytambo ruins are also amazing. The Pisac ruins are so close to the B & B that you can almost walk to them. The people we met in Peru, both those taking the tour and those living there, were wonderful. Luckily our whole group was shoppers, as the shopping at the markets in that area is not to be missed. Lots of silver jewelry, crystals, hand-woven alpaca goods, artwork, etc. I loved the daily yoga and meditation. We sometimes forget in our busy modern world to do the internal work on ourselves that needs to be done; the retreat in Peru gives you the time and the space to do that."

"Everything about this trip was very good. I enjoyed doing yoga and meditation every day and the classes were very good. The food was great and the retreat center was nice. I loved it so much that I ended up staying in Peru. I would recommend this trip to anyone who feels the pull."

"This trip has been one of the best in my life. It was truly amazing. If you are curious about it, just go! You will not regret it. I was in Peru in February and March and at that time of the year, the nature was really lush and green. We visited so many beautiful sites. Machu Picchu was, of course, a highlight. But the other places and things we did were also exciting. The trip has done much for me, especially when it comes to doing meditation and yoga on a deeper level. The food was great, the Peruvians are very welcoming and sweet, and all in all, it was a great trip."

"She uses the name Angel and that is what she is. I have attended one retreat in Peru with her and she really knows what she is doing. The theme for the retreat was yoga, meditation, and vegan food. We also went to the tourist sites in the area and studied the Inca ruins, the salt mines, and a natural warm water bathing place. I would recommend these retreats to anyone. Linn is an honest human being caring for mother earth, preservation of nature, and the greater good for all."
