Accommodation is provided in beautifully furnished 5-metre bell tents. Nestled amongst the lemon and orange groves, the bell tents are simple but sumptuous, with electricity and comfortable beds. Each tent can sleep up to three people. Crisp bed linen and pool towels are provided. There are solar hot and cold powered showers facilities. Internet access is available. There is a small shop on site for all those little essentials you might need.


Nestled into the side of a mountain, over-looking the tranquil valley, sits the stunning yoga platform. Each day is different at Rustic Retreats, with a varied program of workshops and talks, designed to stimulate your mind as well as your body. An optional workshop is offered every day. The workshops on offer this year include: Mandala making, yoga Nidra and deep relaxation, Thai yoga massage, scared matra chanting, chakra healing, mindfulness for all, laughter workshop, pranayama and acro yoga plus many more!


The retreats accommodate all levels, and beginners are very welcome. Lessons will be delivered by experienced teachers who will guide you through a challenging and Restorative yoga practice, where the focus is on the spiritual, healing, and meditative qualities of yoga.

There is one workshop a day, it may be in the morning or afternoon. There is also the option to visit local markets on Wednesday and Sunday.


Jenny Mace
Jenny at first loved the soft and gentle approach of yoga and she still does. However, as she regained her mental and emotional strength and increasingly made yoga her number one priority, she began to reap the benefits from Ashtanga, Flow Yoga, Bikram and Hot Flow as well as from practicing in different environments including retreats, studios, beaches, parks, Ashrams and at home. Jenny's yoga practice is further complemented by her love of singing and dance and of course she intertwines the spirit of yoga into these too.
Anna Hildreth
Anna is a certified Vinyasa Flow Yoga teacher & a neuro-physiotherapist. Her classes are often inspired by nature's elements allowing her students to connect more deeply to the surroundings. In India, she lived a simple life of purity & tranquility learning from Hatha & Ashtanga masters. She discovered that she enjoys most the creativity of Vinyasa Flow. She practises Ashtanga regularly & enjoy fusing elements of the series into her flow classes. Anna believes in finding a harmonious relationship between energies & often teaches & practises Yin Yoga restoring the balance of body, mind & spirit
Dina Rimareva
Dina started practicing yoga on her own some 15 years ago with magazine photos at her disposal she learnt what she could. Until she found a teacher in 2009 and immediately jumped into the Kundalini Teacher Training. She’d practiced and assisted in teaching while she studied Power Yoga in 2011. She's been teaching Power Yoga since this moment in the Netherlands and she now continues doing this in Barcelona, Spain. Since 2014 she's been learning more about anatomy and pranayama with different teachers. When teaching she approaches her students’ needs taking into account what their bodies allow.
Lara Kuhlmann
Lara is a professional contemporary dancer and this is how she got her first access to Yoga, within her dance training. Hungry for more profound understanding and the desire to share her insights after already having been teaching Yoga in summer youth camps, she completed my teaching certificate in (Hot) Vinyasa Yoga in 2016 and started sharing her passion for Yoga with more Yogis. Now, she is continuing her Yogic path and research while teaching Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Yin and Aerial Yoga. Her teaching style is welcoming, open, encouraging and very dynamic.
Joy von Winckelmann
During work as a dance teacher Joy started practicing yoga, originally because of the physical workouts, but soon she realised the full potential of it. She decided to go to India to explore. After she passed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, Hatha Ashtanga Vinyasa in Varkala, it became clear to her that this was the path she was meant to take. Since then she taught regular classes in Sri Lanka and now in Holland where she is currently based. Joy mostly teaches a dynamic mix of Vinyasa and Ashtanga. Her classes are playful, challenging and of course always fun.
Lucy Abel
Lucy is from Norfolk, UK and trained in Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda in Spain in 2017 (Yoga Alliance Certified) and Swedish Full Body Massage. She uses elements from her training in Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda to aid restoring the body safely and creating deep relaxation and harmony. Her passion is to share the gift of yoga and help people use it to express themselves and find their happiness and balance. She supports each student on their journey and ensures variations and adaptions for injuries, health conditions and physical limitations.
Michelle Williamson
Michelle's first experience with yoga was when she was training as a professional dancer. She was lucky enough to be surrounded by teachers hugely interested in mindful movement and began absorbing the benefits from then on. Michelle qualified as an Ashtanga-Vinyasa teacher after studying at Sampoorna Yoga in Goa two years ago after teaching and performing dance for over ten years. She been teaching in different places in England ever since. She teaches a variety of styles: Vinyasa flow, Ashtanga, yin yang flows, but her passion is a fusion of Ashtanga Vinyasa.
Alison Hawkins
Allison been practicing yoga for more than 20 years. She has spent some time in Mysore, India practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa with Sheshadri, and also back bending with Venkatesh. She has lived for many years in Asia with her husband running their own Yoga studios teaching drop-in classes, workshops, retreats and teacher training's. Her main teaching styles are Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, and Aerial Yoga. Her focus being long term functional movement and overall fitness, making Yoga accessible to all body types within an empowering experience.
Bregje Prins
Bregje is a yoga teacher & humanitarian worker & has been studying Yoga & Alexander Technique for the last 13 years. She gained her 200 & 300 hours Hatha Yoga Teacher Training certificates in 2015 & has been teaching group classes, private classes & various retreats since then. She has been taking contemporary dance classes at the professional level for the last 10 years. Her teachings are a combination of Hatha & (slow) Vinyasa, with much emphasis on correct alignment & safety. She has been practicing Alexander Technique for thirteen years & she incorporates it in her classes.
Margot Malin
Margot is from Estonia. She was brought up walking barefoot through the forest towards the beach in the summer & jumping naked into icy rivers after a sauna during winter. Since a young age she has been expressing herself through movement of body through dance & fitness. After starting to discover the World & moving to London, she gained interest in yoga, hunting to discover something new. She travelled to Bali for the first training for Ashtanga method & Yin Yoga. She regularly travels to London, Bali, & India to learn, train & be forever curious about the wild layers of human experience.
Katie O'Byrne
Katie did her very first Yoga class 16 years ago. For years, Yoga was just something she did as a hobby. Eight years ago it all started to change, slowly. She started a more dedicated yoga practice and everything she was learning on the mat, had started to seep out into her life. In 2016 she decided to travel to Rishikesh where she received my Hatha Yoga Teaching Certificate. She immediately started to share what she had learned by teaching classes to a whole range of students. Her aim is to bring a sense of fun and lots of laughter and playfulness to this retreat.
Oskar Nery
Oskar's interest in yoga & meditation started in the late 1960s when his mother had him practice Hatha Yoga with her. By the mid 1990s he was introduced to Astanga Vinyasa (Mysore) by a friend. He studied with different teachers from India, SE Asia, Australia, America & Europe. Oskar paid special attention to the study of Physiology and Anatomy, particularly for movement and rehabilitation after injury. He also studied Sports & Remedial Massage, Thai Massage, Chavutti Thirumal (Indian Rope massage from Kerala), level 1&2 Reiki.

Stimulate all your senses whilst you absorb the bright colors, beautiful textures, tantalizing flavors, and sublime aromas of the fresh food served at Rustic Retreats. The chef will create a myriad of fresh, healthy vegetarian meals to tantalize your pallet, all using the ripest, freshest, seasonal ingredients that are locally produced either from their very own organic garden and vegetable patch or from the local market and farmers.

Varieties of fruit are growing freely on the site such as lemons, oranges, almonds, pomegranate, and carob to name but a few. All vegetarian meals are lovingly prepared by a trained chef in the outdoor kitchen and are served 'al fresco' whenever possible. All meals are included in the price. The meals have been so popular with the clients that they are looking at producing a recipe book for next season.

  • Breakfast baby spinach omelet, cereals, fruit and French toast.
  • Lunch bell pepper frittata, bean and yogurt salad, and pumpkin bread.
