The day starts at 06:30 in the morning with pranayama. The meditation will be followed by two hours of Sadhana. Then, you will have a Mat Chat and break for breakfast at 09:30. The break will be a big break for other activities. After that, you will gather again at 17:00 for a relaxed Shringara Rasa Abyasa with evening Ragas. And continue with an hour of GyanVinayam and meditation. Finally, you will end your evening with a chant and break for dinner.
Vinaya Saunders is an experienced registered yoga teacher and the founder of Vinayam, a humble approach to yoga. Her class is all about bringing life and its experience on the mat, a blend of both spiritual and physical aspects of yoga. She combines the teaching of traditional Hatha and Prana flow, blends Raja yoga meditation, pranayama, mantras, and Ayurveda, leaving you with a sense of satisfaction and complete bliss. She resides in Leesburg, Virginia. She also has some professional qualifications including completion of the following certification: ERYT-500, ERYT-200, and RPYT.
This retreat will take place in Agonda, Goa, India. Goa is India’s smallest state with the most serene beaches to the west and lush green hill-forests to the east. White sand beaches, blue waters, and orange skies make the best sunsets. Colonized by the Portuguese for about 500 years, one will find ancient buildings and churches everywhere.
RU Yoga School is very particular about the food which will be offered to the yogis. RU Yoga School follows a nutritious Ayurvedic diet, and the dietician has various diets according to Ayurvedic body types. You will be following a pure vegetarian diet during your stay at RU Yoga School. RU Yoga School has a diet for vegans as well.
The produce is procured fresh, every day, directly from organic farms locally and from across the best organic farms from neighboring states. All food and beverages served are organic, chemical free, preservative free and free from pesticides.
During your stay, all yogis will dine together, food will be served on plantain leaves, and you will be seated on the ground over a mat.
