The Shanti Space is a beautiful traditional Quinta set in the forest of a national park. Cocooned by nature, their neighbors are Iberian Wolf Sanctuary, the Tapada de Mafra where many animals like deer, wild boar and owls also reside. We offer 4 different room options, so you can make your trip perfect for your needs, with a special option to stay in a bell tent in the middle of the forest!

During this retreat you will nourish your soul through the following:

Rest

You will be staying in The Shanti Space, a beautiful and peaceful old Quinta only 30 minutes north of Lisbon. The venue is set in a national park and surrounded with beautiful fruit trees, giant oak corks, grape vines, and a stream at the end of garden where participants often encounter deer and wild boar.

At night, you will hear the howl of the wolves from the Iberian Wolf Sanctuary next door. Within a 15 minute drive you reach the fierce waves of the Atlantic coast and the charming surf town, Ericeira. This is a space to retreat, rest and restore well-being whilst bathed in abundant nature.

Eat

The food you eat every day can be a medicine to nourish, strengthen, and heal imbalances in your body, mind and soul. Therefore they serve plant-based nutrient rich foods, organic, locally sourced and delicious! They encourage you to slow down when you eat, to actually taste your food and to eat based on what your body really needs. We believe that everybody and every body is different, so we cater for any type of dietary restriction or wish you may have, within the plant based menu that we offer. You will be spoiled with 3 delicious, healthy meals a day, prepared by your in-house chef.

Move

Moving your physical body allows you to drop into a state of presence and awareness, in order to connect with yourself again. Once you are connected to your physical body, you are in the right space to connect with our deeper inner selves as well, on a mental and emotional level.

That’s why we will start the days with a strong, sweaty yoga practice or a hike to challenge yourself a little bit and get the energy moving. But every day, you will move, one way or another. So you can step into the present moment and into your power.

Connect

Connection happens on two levels: with yourself and with others. Spending time in nature, a daily yoga and meditation practice, walks are some of the beautiful way to slow down and to connect with what truly matters to you, free from distraction and the stresses of everyday life.

In addition, there’s something really special about bringing a group of like minded people together from all walks of life. Lasting connections are formed and meeting other people on their personal journeys is an opportunity to learn and grow from one another. Connecting with others starts with connecting with yourself. And this retreat provides you with all the tools to do that.

Play

As busy adults people often forget the importance of play. People forget to do the little things that light them up and get them out of our head. Playing and going on adventures naturally brings us right into the here and now. It makes our soul happy and clears our mind. It teaches us not to take life so seriously. So they encourage you to step into your inner child again (and we promise, it’s still there!) through fun, adventurous and playful activities. We will take you on adventures, like hikes around the beautiful national park, into the enchanted forest and even get you out of your comfort zone onto a surf board, letting the ocean do her magic.

Transform

MPWR Healthy Lifestyle believe that a nourished soul allows space for deep transformation to happen. When you are connected to what you truly want, life starts to flow and happiness is guaranteed. On this retreat, they will provide you with all the tools to do life in a different way and to know exactly what it means to nourish your soul daily. The workshops and coaching sessions will show you how to nourish your body, transform your mind and connect with your soul.

The schedule is diverse, to make sure you feel nourished in every possible way. So your day could look like this, but every day is different!

Sample daily schedule

  • Wake up rested around 7 a.m. with the sounds of nature
  • Move your body with a sunrise yoga practice at 7.30 a.m.
  • Nourish yourself for the day with the best breakfast at 9 a.m.
  • One-on-one health coaching session in the morning
  • Lunch at 1PM
  • Transformative mindset workshop in the afternoon
  • Connect with nature and yourself through a walking meditation at 5 p.m.
  • Dinner at 7 p.m.
  • Play time in the evening; read a book, exchange life stories and goals with your new besties or go for your complimentary massage

Included excursions

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Lisbon Portela Airport (LIS). The quinta is located in a remote area and not so easy to find, so MPWR Healthy Lifestyle recommend you to take their arranged transport from the airport to the venue, which will leave about one hour before check in time. Transport back to the airport (or elsewhere) at the end of the retreat is not included. MPWR Healthy Lifestyle can help you organize.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
