"We are not always the kind of traveler who gets to a place and just likes to sit down, but this place was too enticing to turn back from. Pulling in at around 5:30 in the afternoon we looked at other things to do in the area, but soon got swayed to hang around by their warm and inviting common area. When deciding on a place to eat, we were once again enticed by the on-site restaurant, and we closed off the evening in the hot tub, watching the moon and Jupiter in the night sky, with the Atlantic Ocean within arm's reach. "

"All in all, a very relaxing place with friendly staff."

"We had a great experience winter camping in the big red yurt- thanks to the owners and all staff who made our experience enjoyable for our family of five. We felt welcome even when our little ones were running around the lodge during meal times. Barbara read to our wee ones so we could enjoy a meal- an unexpected surprise. Amazing food and superb scenery- looking forward to another adventure at Cabot Shores."

"If you want a place to sit in your luxurious room, watching satellite TV, then keep looking. If however, you enjoy nature and the wilderness, book this place now!"

"We stayed in the Eagles Nest and it was amazing! Waking up overlooking the trees with the sun shining down on us was unforgettable. Going to bed and gazing at the stars and moon, same. "

"We got in late and during breakfast the next morning, Barbara came over with a map and asked us what we liked to do. She showed us where things were that we never would've known about or found on our own. I got to jam with Paul one night in the main lodge. We rented a canoe and dragged it up 3 sets of rapids to a lovely little sand beach at the base of another set of rapids and spent the day swimming in a huge pool with not a soul around. "

"We will be back next summer, with all our kids and their significant others and for a longer stay."

"I really don't have the words to describe what this place means. Go find out for yourselves. You won't be disappointed!"

"Thanks guys, and see you next summer!"
