300-hour yoga TTC in Rishikesh, India

Yoga as a lifestyle is the basic idea gained in the 200-hour program. But, the journey does not end with this. Instead, it starts with the realization of what is past and now. Hence, there are still further steps to attain that supreme knowledge.

Rishikesh Yog Sansthan's 300-hour yoga teacher training will help you develop your yoga skills and build self-confidence. You will also learn about meditation and yoga philosophy. This course is a great way to start your journey as a yoga teacher.

This next level advanced yoga teacher training is certified by Yoga Alliance U.S.A. and is based on Hatha and Ashtanga yoga. It is an experiential and extensive training wherein you will acquire many different tools in teaching, anatomy, asana, philosophy, and more.

It is a four-week advanced yoga teacher training program for those who have already achieved the qualification of RYT 200 hours.

Advanced yoga asana teaches how to utilize the body as a tool for life. Advanced yoga breathing techniques (pranayama) teach how to live with slow and long breaths, as well as control over autonomic parts of the body.

Advanced yoga relaxation techniques are the base to experience openness in daily routines. Advanced yoga kriya makes the body more flexible and strong for daily challenges.

Yoga teaching techniques make the yoga students teach techniques in a better way. Correction and adjustment techniques of yoga practices are just for the beginning level of training, but later on, everything will be "core muscles activation" with comfortable breath (prana) to activate the energy wheels (chakras) and reach that higher silence (bliss) during the TTC.

Applied anatomy and physiology of yoga practices will take the student from a basic level of understanding to a higher level of understanding the reality and the physical world.

Aims and objectives

  • To spread the true Hatha yoga knowledge and differentiate other yoga styles

Retreat location

Nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas, Rishikesh is a beautiful and spiritual town in northern India, known as the yoga capital of the world. It is a beautiful valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. It is also the perfect place to immerse yourself in the study and practice of yoga.

Rishikesh Yog Sansthan is located at the very heart of Rishikesh. Go and stay with them for a transformative experience that will stay with you for an eternity. The Holy River Ganga is just a five-minute walk away, perfect for an evening stroll.

Food

When practitioners of Rishikesh Yog Sansthan eat food, they do so with the intention of nourishing their bodies and supporting their practice. The following is a description of some of the common foods that are eaten at a yoga ashram.

Sattvic and healthy yogic food

As the old saying goes, "We are what we eat." It is always necessary to watch what you consume, for it is a known fact that the food you eat not only affects your physical health, but also translates into your emotions and thoughts.

Instead of categorizing food into the usual carbohydrates, fats, and proteins, the science of yoga groups food according to the way they influence your mind and body.

The state of one's mind and body is divided into three stages - sattva, rajas, and tamas.

Tamasic foods are the kind of foods that affect you in such a way that you end up feeling lethargic and dysfunctional. Rajasic foods tend to bring about hyperactivity and a sort of irritable restlessness. Sattvic foods, however, are the most balanced. They make you feel just right, in good spirits, and full of life.
