"An unforgettable yoga retreat"
The location of the retreat is incredible. Prepare yourself to be blown away by the variety of plants, flowers and butterflies. Not to mention the waterfall pool!
The food was delicious - they easily catered to our vegan requirements. Fruit bowls, chickpea pancakes and porridge in the morning, and a range of curries, other savoury dishes, chapatti and rice for lunch and dinner. Sometimes there was a tasty coconut dessert as well.
The yoga itself was good for us as learners who ranged from no experience in yoga to around 2 years of classes. It appeared to be Anand’s own personal routine - don’t expect to see any sun salutations!
I did very much enjoy it and intend for it to be my regular morning yoga routine for the foreseeable future. I saw progress in my flexibility in a few days that I hadn’t experienced in years of classes. It was different to what I’d experienced before in that it felt less like relaxing into poses and more pushing into them.
The meditation and breathing classes were also interesting and felt like a very valuable part of the authentic Indian experience. There are over 100(?) possible meditation sequences, so definitely ask about the different options. We were very kindly given a special meditation based on a request which was one of the highlights of the trip.
Everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and helpful.
Thinking of my month long travels around India, this was easily my favourite part - I wish I could have stayed longer!

"A Hidden Gem"
This little hide away in the foothills of the Himalayan mountains is a beautiful, well run yoga retreat. The staff and the guests became like a small community of friends by the time had to go home. The daily morning yoga and the nightly meditation sessions were a huge highlight for me. But just the general feeling of wellness and peacefulness blanketed the whole environment.

"Yoga & Meditation Retreat Rishikesh Valley"
The location is breathtaking, it is not comparable to any other retreat I have seen further down in the city. This place has something spiritual and Anand strengthens this feeling even more with this style of teaching yoga and meditation and through the beautiful and deep discussions we had during my stay. Somehow you feel like home at this place surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect getaway from the daily craziness. All the staff are amazing and make your stay as comfortable as possible. I will definitely come back and stay longer.

"Welcoming and Peaceful stay"
Since unfortunately I was sick most of my stay here I can only judge on the accommodation and food, however the service was impeccable, the food was delicious and served promptly every day and the hut I stayed in was perfectly cosy. The location truly is in the middle of nature and it was a delight every morning to watch the sunrise in the mountains, will definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who took great care of me whilst I was there and made sure I had everything I needed :)

"It was a wonderful experience!"
Everything was absolutely wonderful. The staff was very kind and the food was perfect! I really enjoyed the location up in the mountains, I could definitely relax while being in nature. I loved the wooden huts, they completed the whole picture. I also really enjoyed the interesting conversations with Andan, Subudhi and the other guests. These were my first serious Yoga and Meditation classes and I loved doing them. I would definitely come back to this beautiful Valley to visit these lovely people again! Thank you so much for having this wonderful experience.

"Take a relax time "
I really enjoy being in the middle of the jungle. The rooms are well equipped. The yoga teacher is patient with people like me who have never practiced yoga before.
Here you have too much free time, so bring a good book with you.

"Wonderful location & staff but slightly overpriced"
Our simple cabin accommodation had a back balcony that was private and overlooked the mountain. It was a perfect escape from Rishikesh noise and I loved how the place was designed. The facilities were great with a fan, water cooler and hot water. One of the best parts was the natural pool on the property. The instructor was fun and made yoga accessible for beginners.
