Program

Retreat & Rewild offers a chance to slow down and tune in to the world around you, connecting with yourself and with other amazing women. Sanctuary, summits, and sound offer something for everyone. Your days will be sprinkled with whole-body goodness and you work with a fluid schedule that caters to the energy of the group. To give you an idea of what to expect, here is a guide to the practices which Cat and Molly will be facilitating over the week. Yoga practice will be suited to all levels and abilities. Please bring along any aids or props you would like for a comfortable practice.

Evening practice will be Yin-based, gentle flow, or Restorative with lots of lovely options given for an intuitive and embodied experience. Every evening on retreat will be different. You will be exploring the beauty of sound and music with unique sound journeys or diving into the kingdom of plant healing with traditional cacao ceremony, ritual, and holding sacred space for one another to unfold and release. Please bring a journal and a pen for these special evening adventures.

Cacao ceremony

They open the retreat with a cacao ceremony. Sacred cacao has been used for millennia by indigenous peoples to open the heart and awaken the soul. A gentle and expansive plant medicine, cacao allows you to step outside of the mind and enter the body, clearing a pathway for your greatest wants and needs to unravel without resistance.

When drunk in the ceremony, cacao can be a transformational and loving medicine. Opening your space for the retreat by dancing through an ecstatic evening of movement, breathwork, meditation, journaling, sacred cacao, and radiant sound bath. Come bearing an open heart and a big smile for an evening of love.

Vinyasa yoga

Vinyasa yoga practice is a space to show up on the mat and meet yourself where you are. Explore the landscape of your body by following the rhythm of your breath to stretch, release, and reset. Morning movement magic.

Sound bathing

Your entire cosmos is woven together on the fabric of vibration. You are made of vibration and a mesh of ever-changing frequencies. Sound healing is an ancient technique that uses the application and manipulation of sound and vibration to stimulate healing patterns in the body and mind.

Wild swimming

Bring your swimmers because you can bet you will be dipping at any given opportunity. Wild swimming is truly magical. Immersing inflowing rivers or still lakes, releasing endorphins, and energizing the body. There truly is no better way to feel alive.

Yin and sound

An evening practice of yin and sound is the perfect way to recharge after a day on the hills. Yin yoga is a great way to reset your body and mind and with the additional sound experience, you will reemerge feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. You use the intentional vibrations as a guide to drop into the body and feel your way into a deep meditation - set to a soundscape of peaceful tones. Expect gongs, crystal bowls, chimes, bells, and soaring vocals.

Kundalini yoga

Kundalini global yoga is a portal into a magical place called now. Classes use the body, breath, esoterics, and intention to rapidly transform how you feel. You can expect to leave a Kundalini practice feeling softer, kinder, gentler, with an increased sense of humor and an ever-burgeoning connection to how much agency you have in how you can experience life.

Nidra and sound

In Nidra and sound sessions, you weave a deeply enchanting soundscape of vibration that washes through the body's subtle energy systems, cleansing and clearing any energy blocks, allowing your vitality and prana to build within. These sessions form of deep and transcendent meditation, slipping the body into total relaxation, calming the mind, and relieving tension.

Breathwork

Guided breathwork practices invite you to expand your nervous system range, release anxious thoughts, cleanse stress, and land into the present. Through manipulating the breath, you create a sanctuary for yourself where you feel grounded, relaxed, and safe to be still.
