During your time in Goa, you will stay in Khaama Kethna Eco Retreat. Nestled amid 13 acres of serene jungle and medicinal plants, the accommodation which has shared or solo options is in tree houses and eco cabanas. In Tiruvannamalai, you will have an ashram experience at The Ashok Tree, a peaceful centre with sunrise and sunset views of the Arunachala mountain.

Resonant Retreats Goa Yoga Retreat Program

You will have sadhana, meditation, asana, pranayama, and mantra in the morning and Yin yoga, sound work, gong, voice practice during the sunset. You will arrive in Goa on Sunday, January 28, 2017 and will depart on February 11, 2017 after the morning yoga class. You will have ten days of yoga, sound, and creativity in the Goan jungle and four days pilgrimage to the holy town of Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu.

The retreat will have AcuGong ceremonies, sharing circles, healing sound concert, Ayurveda lifestyle, overnight camping under the stars, plant based nutrition, and superfoods, chanting, fire Puja ceremony, intention setting, acutonics sound therapy, sacred geometry, mandala art, collaborative yantra making, yoga techniques ‘playgrounds’, nature walks, beach yoga, satsang, and exploring local Indian culture and spirituality as a part of the itinerary.

Home-cooked sattvic food, fresh juices, and herbal elixirs will keep you nourished during a daily program of yoga, meditation, and gong baths, plus creative inspiration and time in nature. The retreat includes empowering Ayurveda and foodie workshops, techniques playgrounds, mandala art and sacred geometry, healing ceremonies and a variety of treatments available one to one.

You will have the ashram experience in Tiruvannamalai, absorbing the powerful vibrations of the Sri Ramana Maharishi ashram, meditation caves, and temples, making the ritual sunrise walk around Arunachala, Shiva’s mountain, and sharing satsang.


Katina is a creativity queen with a serious addiction to mandala art. She escaped London and a hectic life managing a well-being studio and now spends as much time in nature as possible, living in eco communities and studying wilderness craft. Guiding you through meditative art activities, Kat also will host sharing circles and is always on hand for a chat and a cup of herbal tea.
Ali Gunning
Ali Gunning is a sound healing practitioner, yoga teacher, holistic yoga therapist, and co-founder of Resonant Retreats. She came to sound through yoga and mantra and now specializes in working with the gong, which she feels is an extension of the yogic path; transformation, self-healing, union, and wholeness. Ali is passionate about sharing sound, breath, and movement practices which can bring transformation in all areas of life, all layers of one's being.
Robi is a techniques expert who will help refine your practice and have you breezing into asanas you never thought possible. With an Ashtanga and Vinyasa flow background and over 500 hours of training in Rishikesh, Robi blends a deep understanding of anatomy and breath with the eight limbs of yoga philosophy; delivered with the authentic, playful teaching style (and sound effects) east London loves her for.
Fran is a raw food chef, creator of Moody Mango Raw Cuisine and, with Ali, Resonant Retreats. She is known for her vibrant aura and ‘keeping it real’; passionate about juicing and super foods, yet showing how a plant-based lifestyle can be affordable and accessible. Although based in East London she is a traveler at heart; inspired by several years in South America, living in raw food communities; bringing the principles of yoga and Ayurveda into her sattvic eating workshops.
Sarah is a practitioner in Chinese medicine, Tui Na, and acupuncture. Sarah is a ray of yang positivity, has been treating and teaching for over 25 years and loves singing and writing music.
Isabel is practitioner in Chinese medicine, Tui Na, and acupuncture. Isabel hides a black belt in kick boxing under her nurturing yin exterior.
Yaniv brings together sacred geometry, kabbalah, and sound healing with Himalayan bowls. Last session, Ali came across his light energy, knowledge, and dedication in helping others realize their dharma, beauty, and truth.

Retreat location

This retreat will take place in India. For the first 11 days, you will have Goan jungle experience and then you will offer pilgrimage to the holy town of Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu for four days.


You will be provided with brunch and dinner daily. Khaama Kethna offers fresh, local, seasonal, and organic produce; many ingredients are grown on the owner's farm. The menu mixes Ayurvedic, South Indian, rainbow diet, and raw influences. Vegans, vegetarians, and gluten-free diets are spoiled for choice. You can nourish with amazing smoothies, juices, herbal elixirs. Resonant Retreats also offer a sattvic food workshop as part of the programme, for those who like to get into the kitchen.
