This beautiful home has floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall windows, with 360 degrees of breathtaking views as far as the eye can see! Enjoy upscale furnishings and decor, an open great room and wood-burning fireplace, a gourmet kitchen, a second open family room and a fireplace in the walkout basement, a wet bar, and a 900 square feet of deck with a large gas fire pit. No expense has been spared and no fine detail has been left undone.

  • 7:15 PM Glowga - Class time 7:30pm - 8:45pm (Night SUP Yoga)

Day 4

  • 9:00 AM Meditation & Yoga (1 hour 15 min)

When making your flight arrangements try to book flights such that you will be able to transport and arrive at the retreat location by 5:00 pm. Kara wouldn't want you to miss the wonderful champagne/appetizer reception. Also, do your best to book flights that will allow you to stay until the close of the program, 12:00 p.m. on Sunday (you could technically leave at 11:00 a.m. if you were packed up and ready).

Reshape Midlife strives to provide an upscale yet relaxed environment in which to enjoy your retreat. Kara understands that your time is precious and that breaking away from your daily obligations and responsibilities is no easy task. So, congratulations to you for taking the time for self-care and replenishment.

Kara encourages you to participate in everything, but if what you are personally needing is extra downtime, please know that everything throughout the weekend is optional. If sitting and staring at the mountains or reading for hours is what you need, by all means, do it! This retreat is about feeding your soul!

Included excursions

Enjoy an evening outing to a local lake. We will feast on a specially prepared picnic by our private chef, have time to walk around the lake and take in the fantastic mountain views, followed by GLOWGA. That's standup paddleboard yoga from sunset to dark where the boards are lit. It is an experience not to be missed!

Retreat location

Enjoy this modern farmhouse, nestled against Woodmoor Mountain, on 35 acres of private forest! It is centrally located between Denver and Colorado Springs. It is just 3 miles north of Palmer Lake (where you will enjoy SUP yoga), 11 miles from the Air Force Academy, and 17 miles from Castle Rock (home to a wonderful outlet mall).

Just down the road, The Colorado Renaissance Festival will be in full swing. Enjoy being immersed in nature. This beautiful mountainous and forested acreage is the perfect setting to unwind as you enjoy the local wildlife. Summer will be the perfect time to enjoy this unique spot in Colorado.

Reshape Midlife hand-selected this high-end home for its location, the beautiful indoor and outdoor spaces, and all of the amazing amenities and experiences the local area has to offer. It will provide the perfect setting for you to relax, unwind and bond with other like-minded women.

Food

You will enjoy healthy meals throughout the retreat with all meals being included. Nourishing breakfast each morning, lunch daily, and dinner each night (wine included with dinner). The meals will be prepared with the personal chef taking any special dietary considerations into account. Special food requirements can be accommodated to a point. If you have particular dietary concerns that you need to be sure can be accommodated please contact the host.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Transportation to and from the airport - the closest airport is Colorado Springs, a wonderfully small and easy in-and-out airport (COS) about 40 miles away from the property. Denver International Airport (DEN) is approximately 60 miles away. Probably your best bet will be a rental car. You certainly could use Uber or Lyft, but due to the distance, it could be pricey. Prior to the retreat, Kara will send all guests a spreadsheet with guest names and airline arrivals so that you may coordinate car shares. This usually works out quite well and is a big money saver for all guests.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 18% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
