Head to Oahu, Hawaii for a special 20-day program including a full 200-hour teacher training immersion. The program is good for new teachers looking for a strong foundation or already certified teachers looking to deepen their understanding of sequence building, and the depth of practice through the application of the gunas and koshas. The retreat is be based off the teachings of Andrey Lappa, and will draw upon the Ayurvedic background for Vedic arts.
The accommodation will be arranged at a private home at Rocky Point near Sunset Beach, and the famous Pipeline surf break of the North Shore. Rooms will be shared with requests available for who to room with. There will be two to four students per bedroom. Private rooms are available for an additional fee upon request.
All on-sight students will be required to spend two days on rotation with the Ayurvedic chef, helping in meal planning and preparation, and learning about the techniques of Ayurvedic cooking.
Carlisle Amlak is an Ayurvedic practitioner, Pancha Karma specialist, certified Ayurvedic educator, Ayurvedic body healing therapist, certified herbalist as well as a Sai Shakti healer, Reiki master, and yoga teacher. Carlisle dedicates her practice to her guru Sri Kaleshwar of India and her current teacher Chinello Haney of The Divine Souls, feeling blessed to be able to share the teachings of the lineage along her path while continuing to be a student of the practice.
Sara is a yoga teacher, Thai massage therapist, and Ayurvedic consultant. She is currently continuing her Ayurvedic education with the California College of Ayurveda. She is forever grateful to her asana teachers, Andrey Lappa of Universal Yoga, Nikki Vilella of Kula Yoga Project, Isaac Pena, Jude English MaryDana Abbott of Sankalpha Yoga and Raghunath Cappo, and Sadhvi Abha Saraswattiji of Parmarth Niketan Asram in Rishikesh, for their ever inspiring Bhatri immersion.
The retreat takes place at Rocky Point, Northshore, Oahu, Hawaii.
Two meals are included as a part of the package.
Bikes are available on sight with the North Shore bike path, which is walking distance from the property. Within a mile of location is Sunset Beach, Pipeline Beach, Waimea Bay, Pupukea trails, Waimea Valley, a grocery store, and other shops, where participants are free to take the bikes and roam around. Additionally, guests can also try Sai Shakti healing, spa, and universal yoga.
Ayurvedic spa sessions and therapies can be booked at additional costs.
