Red Buddha Yoga and Wellness Mexico Yoga Teacher Training Program

This 200-hour yoga tacher training program is approved by Yoga Alliance and meets the standards for certification through that organization. This yoga teacher training program blends the ancient philosophy of yoga science with the contemporary art of teaching yoga as a transformational practice of self-care and health and wellness.

The program will begin from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. most days except for Tuesdays. There will be one hour break for eating, resting, and study. Tuesday is a day of rest with no contact hours, time for self-study, and open book assignments.

Red Buddha Yoga and Wellness teaches yoga as a holistic mind and body inquiry to know oneself and be empowered by the inherent wisdom within. The core focus of the program is yoga of the East and yoga of the West. You will learn to teach more than 60 basic foundational yoga poses, including modifications with props and variations. In addition, you will learn to adapt or teach many of core asanas, restorative supported poses, and a variation to teach vigorous vinyasa flow.

In this program, you will get personal growth and empowerment. You will not only learn the yoga philosophy, but also embody it. In addition, through sutras study and group discussion, you will gain confidence in your understanding and expression of yoga principles. The different teaching method for beginner, intermediate, and advanced student will also be taught.

Instruction and information will be provided via a variety of formats which include direct participation in physical practice of asana as well as lecture, group discussion, reading assignments, alignment demos, and interactive adjustments.
