Join Adam Husler for a luxury yoga weekend in November. You will stay in a 17th-century manor house, hidden away in a traditional country village an hour north of London. Open to all levels, this yoga weekend will appeal to those you who enjoy a strong, smooth flowing class and want to deepen your yoga practice. Leave all your worry behind and book your yoga getaway now!
The 17th-century manor house has luxuriously plush bedrooms in both the main house and the converted stable yard. The bedrooms in the main house are larger with views out onto beautiful gardens. These rooms share bathrooms between 2 or 3 people. The bedrooms in the converted stable yard are set around a courtyard surrounded by gardens. Most of the rooms at the stableyard are ensuite.
During this retreat, you will have four yoga classes with Adam Husler over the weekend in a beautiful yoga room. Classes will be between 2 to 3 hours long and some will be done in a workshop style so you can explore aspects of your practice in detail. On this yoga weekend, you can expect an invigorating and sweaty practice while exploring your mobility, flexibility, and strength.
Adam uses his diverse background and understanding of the body to give you a strong and smooth flowing class, where breath, body, and mind will be linked, deep postures are slowly explored with anatomical precision and intelligent alignment, building heat and strength in the body. Students of all levels will find these yoga classes rewarding but it is also recommended that you have some knowledge of Vinyasa. Adam seeks to remind all that an asana practice is a very subjective experience, so whether you are a yoga teacher or a yoga newbie, prepare to work hard as they’ll be plenty of options to challenge all.
Please arrive at your retreat place by 16:00 on 24th November and you will finish at 14:00 on 26th November 2017. Students of all levels will find these yoga classes rewarding but Reclaim Your Self recommends you have some knowledge of Vinyasa. With experience in the boxing ring, on ultra marathon routes, studying law, and with nine years of having a yoga mat in hand, Adam brings a unique perspective to his yoga teaching. His love of anatomy has led him to specialize in alignment-based Vinyasa yoga. Based in London, Adam teaches regular classes and workshops, along with international and online teaching.
The manor house is set within five acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and a further fifty acres of private land. The crystal yoga room overlooks the parterre garden and the sanctuary meditation room is nestled in secluded woodland. This location also has its own labyrinth, a unique place that is perfect for peaceful reflection and quiet time. Walking around the labyrinth can create balance in the body and brings peace to the mind. Over the weekend, it is encouraged that you take some time for reflection and contemplation there.
On this yoga weekend, Reclaim Your Self's own chef, Saba Rahbar, will be creating delicious and healthy meals using fresh, local products. Her menus are designed to support your yoga weekend so you can expect nourishing meals such as vegan meals, gluten and sugar-free meals, and low dairy meals. You will have plenty of herbal infusions, tea, and water. Reclaim Your Self encourages you not to drink any caffeine during the retreat.
During your free time, you can explore the manor or choose to relax. You can also choose to walk around the Labyrinth for a peaceful reflection and some quiet time.
You can arrive at London Luton Airport (LTN). You can travel easily to your retreat place by using Eurostar at an additional cost.
The nearest station is Bedford Station which is less than an hour by train from London St. Pancras. From Bedford station, you can take a taxi which will cost you aroud 17 GBP and will take you 30 minutes to your retreat place.
