In Ravvi’s School of Yoga, India, yoga teacher training starts from training yourself. They believe that when you understand yoga, you will convey the message without teaching, so their main focus is to bring yoga to your life so later you can share your experiences with others. They aim to train you to be yoga teachers who by taking responsibility for your own physical, mental, and spiritual health are true ambassadors of the ancient system of yoga.
There is a prerequisite of 2 years of yoga practice.
Students with a graduation certificate from a 200-hour Foundation Course or who have completed training with a Yoga Alliance Professionals-accredited trainer can apply for accreditation with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
There will be 3-5 hours of daily live sessions. 108-152 hours will be dedicated to live practice and theory sessions, and 28-72 hours will be dedicated to class guidance, assignments, and video sessions.
Online sessions will be held over Zoom. Study material will be provided, and you will be close to personal yoga teacher training.
The timezone of the live sessions is EEST (GMT+3), and the timing will be mutually scheduled. The minimum time to complete the training is 42 days while the maximum is 84 days.

Yoga teacher training course syllabus will help you to understand better the topics you will be learning about in the training. Please note, that the hours spent on each topic may vary depending on your experience, abilities, and knowledge regarding the subject.
(30 hours) The aim of this module is to establish an understanding of traditional yoga, its different definitions, and the types of yoga. Provide a basic introduction to the philosophy of yoga. This module will also establish a strong understanding of the basic principles and practices of Hatha yoga and the eight limbs of yoga (Ashtanga yoga).
(20 hours) This module will establish a strong understanding of the basic anatomy and physiology of the body completely covering all areas of the functioning body and its vital organs and effects of yoga practices.
(10 hours) The third module will provide an in-depth understanding of health and hygiene, nutrition, and diet in accordance with the concept of yoga. The module will cover the traditional ways for a clear understanding of the combination of yogic exercise and diet and the ethical values of yoga.
(90 hours) The aim of this module is to provide an understanding of the traditional postures (asanas) of yoga and the techniques with variations, the practice of breathing, and the progressive practice of traditional cleansing. The module will provide a wide knowledge of meditation and the effect of Mudras.
(30 hours) The final module to the course will provide the knowledge of class preparation, class sequences, dialogues, and a strong understanding of how to correct asana. The module will assist the student in preparing for teaching and student involvement and how to market the classes that the student will be teaching.
5 hours will be spent actively teaching in the presence of the tutor. 15 hours will be spent observing, assisting, and practicing teaching in a class environment.
Minimum 95% attendance required for certification. For certification, a student must pass the assessment criteria.
Assessment criteria is based on conduct throughout the training, Karma yoga practice, completion of assignments, personal practice and performance, and guiding a class.

Rasa completed her yoga teacher training at Yogapadhashala and also at Sivananda Ashram in Ahmedabad, India. She traveled and joined classes in different ashrams and yoga schools in India, Mysore Mandala School, three weeks of Ashtanga yoga practice, and pranayama course with B.N.S. Iyengar. Rasa believes there is no style of yoga. Yoga is an ancient science founded in India to balance and keep your body, mind, and soul healthy. Yoga teaches us to live every moment of our lives fully experiencing it whatever comes to us.
Irina completed her yoga teacher training with Master Ravindra. But she believes that teacher training should never end. There is always something more to learn to adapt to practice "Yoga is for everybody. Yoga is everywhere. Yoga is the happiness of living. I would share this knowledge with other people.
