The yoga school is located at Upper Bhagsu, a village located above McLeod Ganj and Dharamshala city. It is a wonderful place for yoga classes and it is also very warm and artistic. This place is cryptic and located far from Dharamshala city life, but it still has a local cultural center and is a meeting point for many travelers.

The hall in this place has an energetic property. In the evening, music and various artists’ events are organized here, while in the daytime, you can enjoy the tasteful baked bread and cakes.

This 200-hour yoga teacher training program includes the core philosophy of yoga, which is supplemented by practices and teaching methodologies from various Indian traditional yoga schools, such as Ashtanga Vinyasa and BKS Iyengar. Contemporary modern schools, such as Acro Yoga, are also included.

The curriculum for this 200-hour teacher training includes simple warm-up techniques for glands and joints, sun salutations, Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga, Acro yoga, Power yoga, traditional yoga techniques, pranayama, deep relaxation techniques, and yoga Nidra techniques, stress management, techniques to develop strength and flexibility, and bandhas, which are regarded as an important aspect of Hatha yoga.

You will also study anatomy and physiology for yoga, philosophy of Patanjali Yoga Sutras, teaching methodology, ethics, and business of yoga, as well as meditation techniques, such as chakra, panchakosha, and more.

You will do this 200-hour program by getting much more in touch with the power of your minds through daily meditation, mindfulness techniques, asanas, pranayama, journaling, silence, and more. Perhaps even more helpful will be the reflections that you receive from each other and the tribe-building communal living which is often both a challenge and a great opportunity for growth.

In this yoga teacher training program, classes start with pranayama and meditation in the early morning. You practice asana for a whole day and the evening is for you to be relaxed and to calm down your soul. The program starts at 6 a.m., and classes will end at about 6:00 pm. During the daytime, students have a long lunch break to rejuvenate their minds by having healthy food, tea, and snacks.

The program dwells on yoga classes with activities like practical workshops, lectures, and other activities like discussions, silent walks, and group activities (Karma yoga). On every Saturday, students do only asana practice. After that, in the remaining time of the day, they do self-practice. On Sunday, students relax as the day is free for leisure activities.
