"If you are going for holidays, the location and the lodge is absolutely fantastic, and Sunshine and Glen are great hosts. It is a perfect choice for a retreat. If you are going for the course, it is going to be fun and at the same time intense because it involves not only working on your theoretical knowledge and how well you do the poses, but also working on yourself as a whole; body and mind. It will get you where you need to be, to make a yoga teacher out of you! I had a fantastic experience and I definitely recommend the course to anyone looking for a YTT. I will be returning for more retreats and courses for sure!"

"I had a great experience at Rainbow Light Yoga, having just completed my Yoga Teacher Training 200 in November 2016. Sunshine and Glen (and their two gorgeous children) are exceedingly accommodating and are very hospitable. Sunshine is very patient and thorough in her teaching of yoga, making it clear that there are many different ways people practice and many paths of yoga. It isn't all about the moves! We were exposed to many various ways of learning - through research, reading, watching various videos, discussions and plenty of practice (on many days having two lessons in addition to teaching and 'pose' practice). Every morning and evening we had a meditation session - again, exposing us to various methods. Rainbow Light Yoga is a wonderful retreat that really lets you 'find yourself'. Emilia also helped teach the classes and was always at hand to help you with advice or pass on her knowledge and experiences. Would I recommend this retreat? Absolutely and wholeheartedly. Will I go back? Yes. I am working on that now!"

"Hi! My name is Marcus Wilson. I have just completed the yoga teacher training course with Sunshine, RainbowLight Yoga and I wanted to make a short video to recommend the course. Sunshine's a wonderful teacher. She has obviously worked really hard to make the course varied and interesting in all its content and that goes way beyond the yoga poses. So, you'll learn about background and philosophy and the history of yoga- studying from some of the authentic teachers in the yoga lineage. You'll learn a little about anatomy and how to take care of your students in different postures and what students should avoid with different injuries. And also, you'll learn a lot about different types of yoga and Sunshine will help you find a style of teaching that suits you as well. So Sunshine has a way of creating a really comfortable an supportive environment for her students. The course is structured in a really good way. So we start by learning individual postures and teach poses individually to each other and then we move on to series of poses, teaching series of poses and then progressing on to quarter classes...half a class. So before you know it, you're starting to teach a full class and you're really prepared and confident by that point. I can't say the course isn't without its challenges but it certainly is one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done. And what's more, I now feel really confident to go out there and teach students of my own. So I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RainbowLight Yoga Teacher Training."

"I really loved the yoga teacher training with Sunshine at RainbowLIght Yoga. I have been practicing yoga for many years and it's just helped me to progress so much further. I really gained confidence within my own practice and confidence in teaching. Sunshine pushed us very hard at times, so we were challenged to develop to study, to learn and progress but she was always there to support us during our practices and also now afterwards. So I felt really held in the space and very safe within the training. I feel now that after the yoga teacher training, I am more confident in my own practice. I know what I am doing. I know where I am going and I've learned so much more about yoga. And I love teaching it and sharing it with others. And I would definitely recommend for you to take the teacher training even just to go broader, deeper in your own practice or share this new skill with others and become a yoga teacher. I think it's really worthwhile."

"The couple of months I trained with Sunshine were life changing. Anxiety and depression were really bad at the time and I wasn't doing much with my life but had a hint I wanted to try yoga so I jumped into the YTT 200 training and I realized yoga was definitely the path I needed at the time and its something that's always gonna be my life and it keeps me grounded. She was a lovely teacher and hostess and I loved the material she picked for us both of the physical practice and theory. I learned so much in the 200-hours and if she's ever gonna be teaching the YTT500 I will be there learning of her. "

"I had one-to-one YTT200 with Sunshine and can honestly say it was a life changing experience. You will be challenged in many ways- spiritually, energetically, physically, and emotionally. Whilst I didn't agree with all the concepts, I did respect them and use them in some form or another in my lessons. On completion of the course, I started teaching straight away. Sunshine helps one to develop their teaching style at a pace appropriate to them. Her course was thorough and our analysis of the yoga sutras was detailed. We did activities outside of the classroom too including a visit to Samye Ling monastery and singing kirtan at the Salisbury Centre. I can highly recommend this course, as well as deepening your own understanding of this ancient practice, you will come away feeling able to sequence a class with ease and confidence."

"Thank you for a magical weekend, and for your kind compassionate presence. Having you as a model of an american woman, having made the path work and seeing it’s results in your actions is a great inspiration for me and my husband."

"Thank you for allowing me to watch your beautiful dancing. The movement is like a river, the emergence of each woman like a flower blooming, the rhythm like a heartbeat. But it isn’t all soft and mushy, the women expressed much verve and mystery. It was wonderful to see the Dalai Lama drawn to it and bring his energy to the whole celebration."

"Thank you for your presentation. As the organizer of the Tara event in our community, I am still hearing how you touched many hearts. Thank you also for sharing your wisdom and the profound teachings on the path of Tara. Dancing twice with you and participating in the meditation has opened many levels of spirituality I never imagined. I admire the courage and faith it takes to hear and present a different drummer. Knowing you has helped me acknowledge and accept my power."

"I want to tell you that after spending the weekend with you and the Tara dancers, I was profoundly changed. I was really blissed out for about three days! Everything I normally do in my life felt extremely easy and I felt really connected to everyone and everything. I try to cultivate that feeling now in my practice."

"I find the Green Tara practice (inspired by Tara and transmitted by Prema Dasara) to be a powerful, potent, ecumenical spiritual practice that is simple and profound. What I appreciate most about this Green Tara practice is its accessibility and potency. One need not be a Buddhist nor a dancer, merely a spiritual seeker who desires to develop a deeper authentic relationship with themselves and with others by developing a deep and authentic relationship with Tara who is our true essence."
