I wish I could do something wonderful to express my gratitude to Sunshine, RainbowLight Yoga retreat and my enjoyment for being given a fantastic opportunity to participate in such a comprehensive and educational training. I have always wanted to develop my teaching skills in yoga and having the opportunity to take this qualification with RainbowLight Yoga has been once of the most important things I have done to develop my career as a yoga instructor. I have been thoroughly blessed with relaxation, exercise, and knowledge all at the right level for me, apart from the very comfortable facilities, delicious food and the company of mind like people who made my training even more interesting and exciting. I do recommend if you want to receive high-quality training with a wonderful brilliant teacher, then take some time for yourself and enjoy the blessing of Sunshine's teaching as that certainly is one of the experiences in my life which I will never forget!

The YTT 200-hour course at RainbowLight Yoga was wonderful. Some days were challenging - both physically and emotionally - but overall very rewarding. As well as all the yoga, we also did lots of meditation (at times very intense, highly introspective, fascinating), as well as discussions and reading/research. Some of the experiences I had during the meditation sessions I know will stay with me for the rest of my life, and for this alone I am hugely grateful to Sunshine. We were given lots of practice teaching individual poses and different series of poses, as well as some full classes. The course beautifully illustrated that yoga is so very much more than yoga asanas and I really came to understand the sense of unity offered by a yogic life. Sunshine is a very inspiring teacher with a wealth of experience and insight. She leads wonderful flowing yoga classes and offers inspirational teachings and concepts that are both uplifting and thought-provoking. She was very ably and effectively supported in her teaching by the lovely Emilia, who brought a different teaching style to our sessions; overall this helped to give the course a more rounded and comprehensive feel. For me, it was a joy to be amongst like-minded people with a passion for yoga, who also had a real passion for the health of the planet, people, community etc. I came away feeling incredibly energised, positive and more confident - both physically and emotionally stronger. I now also have a much stronger personal yoga practice, which I am really enjoying. The location of the course is very rural, in the beautiful countryside of southwest France and there were lots of opportunities to walk in nature and enjoy just being. I have huge respect for both Sunshine and Glen for so graciously sharing their home with us students for the duration of the course and for inspiring us to believe in ourselves. Sunshine says 'There are yoga students waiting for the exact type of yoga teacher you will become' and I wholeheartedly believe this to be true. After successfully completing the course, I am excited for the future in a way that I have not experienced before; I feel I am at the start of an exciting and beautiful journey as I begin to teach yoga, and for that I am truly grateful. Namaste.

If you are going for holidays, the location and the lodge is absolutely fantastic, and Sunshine and Glen are great hosts. It is a perfect choice for a retreat. If you are going for the course, it is going to be fun and at the same time intense because it involves not only working on your theoretical knowledge and how well you do the poses but also working on yourself as a whole; body and mind. It will get you where you need to be, to make a yoga teacher out of you! I had a fantastic experience and I definitely recommend the course to anyone looking for a yoga teacher training. I will be returning for more retreats and courses for sure!

I had a great experience at RainbowLight Yoga, having just completed my 200-hour yoga teacher training in November 2016. Sunshine and Glen (and their two gorgeous children) are exceedingly accommodating and are very hospitable. Sunshine is very patient and thorough in her teaching of yoga, making it clear that there are many different ways people practice and many paths of yoga. It is not all about the moves! We were exposed to many various ways of learning, through research, reading, watching various videos, discussions and plenty of practice (on many days having two lessons in addition to teaching and pose practice). Every morning and evening we had a meditation session, exposing us to various methods. RainbowLight Yoga is a wonderful retreat that really lets you find yourself. Emilia also helped teach the classes and was always at hand to help you with advice or pass on her knowledge and experiences. Would I recommend this retreat? Absolutely and wholeheartedly. Will I go back? Yes. I am working on that now!

Hi! My name is Marcus Wilson. I have just completed the yoga teacher training course with Sunshine, RainbowLight Yoga and I wanted to make a short video to recommend the course. Sunshine's a wonderful teacher. She has obviously worked really hard to make the course varied and interesting in all its content and that goes way beyond the yoga poses. So you will learn about background and philosophy and the history of yoga, studying from some of the authentic teachers in the yoga lineage. You will learn a little about anatomy and how to take care of your students in different postures and what students should avoid with different injuries. And also, you will learn a lot about different types of yoga and Sunshine will help you find a style of teaching that suits you as well. So Sunshine has a way of creating a really comfortable and supportive environment for her students. The course is structured in a really good way. So we start by learning individual postures and teach poses individually to each other and then we move on to series of poses, teaching series of poses, and then progressing on to quarter classes, half a class. So before you know it, you are starting to teach a full class and you are really prepared and confident by that point. I cannot say the course is not without its challenges, but it certainly is one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done. And what is more, I now feel really confident to go out there and teach students of my own. So I would not hesitate to recommend RainbowLight yoga teacher training.
