Reconnect with your inner self through daily yoga asana and meditation sessions set against the backdrop of Quinta Morazes' serene atmosphere, surrounded by nature. The yoga classes include Hatha Vinyasa, Vinyasa Flow, Yin, and Nidra yoga. The certified instructors will guide you through practices that cater to all levels, fostering a sense of well-being and self-discovery through movement, meditation, and breathwork.
Maria is a Vinyasa Yoga teacher with more than 500 hours of certified teacher trainings in Vinyasa Yoga over the past years. She has a passion for movement in general, be it yoga, dancing or hiking. With an academic background in classical and contemporary dance and the arts, Maria discovered her form of expression and reconnection through yoga. She started practicing Iyengar yoga more than 10 years ago which provided her deep knowledge about yoga foundations and alignment. Her classes focus on building a strong connection with your body through movement and meditation.
Filipe, a certified plant-based chef on a mission to transform the way we view and savor plant-based cuisine. With over a decade of personal experience crafting vegetarian delights for himself, family, and friends, Filipe felt a profound calling to elevate plant-based food to the forefront of his life's work. His journey led him to Sweden, where he studied plant-based cuisine, and to New Zealand, where he has worked as a vegan Chef.
All the way from Porto, Juliana has developed a fascination for travelling and living in other countries, finally finding her home in the island of São Miguel, Azores. Exploring, learning and adventure has always been components that compose and moves her. Juliana has been part of two Hatha Yoga foundational workshops in Lisboa with Liliana Nunõ, between the years of 2017-2018 and in 2022 completed in Sweden a 200hr Vinyasa Yoga Certificate with Elin Jensen and Lisa Rhodiner. Juliana hopes to inspire others to also develop a forever curiosity and connection within oneself and its authenticity.
Quinta Morazes is located in the Azorean São Miguel island, in the parish of Rabo de Peixe, which is a picturesque fishing village with a deeply rooted tradition. São Miguel is the largest island in the Azores archipelago, known as “the green island”. This volcanic island is popular for its thermal baths, lagoons, and waterfalls with stunning landscapes.
