Learn about breath-hold diving with an introduction to freediving course to explore the ocean in the most eco-friendly way. Enjoy healthy local meals, juices, and just simply let your mind and body connect with nature. Evening pranayama session and enjoy the view under the stars at night.
Day 1: Pick up from airport/seaport, transfer to resort and relax. Swim in the infinity pool or take a dip in the refreshing ocean at your doorstep. Evening yoga on the deck overlooking the ocean, dinner then relax under the stars.
Day 2: Wake up to refreshing yoga session on the ocean deck. Introduction to relaxation and breathing and static breath-hold session. Breakfast and short freediving theory session. Jump into the water to freedive! Learn techniques to dive in one breath with the line. Lunch break and relax in the pool or hammock. Afternoon freediving session (optional upgrade for AIDA one-star certification) or just snorkel and enjoy the reef. Evening pranayama session then dinner and relax.
Day 3: Morning yoga then freedive/snorkel session in the water, last time to enjoy the beauty of the ocean! Late breakfast then check out. Transfer to airport/seaport and goodbye.
The 1 star course can be taken by everyone that is somewhat comfortable in water. The only requirement to join the course is that you're able to swim 100 meters. The course will open your mind to a whole new underwater experience where you will increase your confidence and reach a new level of relaxation.
The focus on the class is on basic skills and safety and to build a good foundation for further freediving. It is also an excellent course to take if you just want to get more enjoyment out of snorkeling, as you will be a safer and better diver after finishing the course.
You will learn the basic theory of freediving and how to prepare yourself for a breath hold dive including preparation breathing, duck dive, finning, buddying, and basic safety techniques.

Panglao Island is generally associated with Alona Beach, a strip of resorts and dive centers on the southern side of the island. The underwater scene around Alona is exceptional, and divers can score nifty package deals by combining dives with accommodation. Just 15 kilometers from Tagbilaran, it works just fine as a base for exploring the rest of Bohol. Just as you cross over the bridge to Panglao Island from Tagbilaran, take a moment to look around the scenic village of Dauis and admire the magnificent exterior and interior of the 19th-century Lady of Assumption Cathedral.

Bohol is served by Tagbilaran airport, where flights from Manila arrive with Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific airlines. Another more common way is to arrive to Cebu-Mactan International airport, which is served by many international airlines such as Cebu Pacific, Silk Air and Tiger airlines (Singapore), and direct flights from Hong Kong, Korea etc. From Cebu, take a fast ferry to arrive to Tagbilaran. Qi Retreats will advise on the best way for you to arrive to Bohol when you register.
