Your retreat is based at Patara Prince, a charming resort hotel nestled into the coast just across the bay from Kalkan. Designed and owned by an architect, you will fall in love with its natural stone, abundant greenery and character-full winding pathways. Patara is far enough from the town to enjoy absolute serenity and peace, but just a 15-minute walk or short boat ride for explorers.

The Patara Prince vibe is mellow and comfortable, intimate yet very spacious with plenty of areas in which to lose yourself and enjoy those much needed quiet moments and ‘you time’. Bask in the sunshine, jump into pure and healing sea water, enjoy either of Patara’s inviting swimming pools, read a book or meditate on the shady bougainvillea-lined terraces, have a relaxing massage, watch the sun set and rise across the water. %Close your eyes, breathe, and just be. Your room will be situated in the main hotel, furnished in an elegant and comfortable traditional style.


Our program incorporates mindful Yoga practices which will allow you to travel through each chakra to understand the beauty and power of these seven subtle energy centers in your body, and how to engage with them to support your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

Simultaneously, our inspirational nutrition and wellbeing workshops, delivered by Sarah, our nutritional therapist and holistic health coach, will help you reconnect with your personal need for nutritious food and intuitive, nourishing eating experiences.

  • An evening at an eco-friendly local restaurant for a vegan buffet.

Turkey’s Aegean coast with its sapphire waters, ancient cultural influences, dramatic views and warm and hospitable culture is a place to immerse yourself in vibrant natural beauty, to rest, restore, and feel alive and reinvigorated.

Set in a breath-taking, sweeping bay, with a mountainous backdrop, Kalkan itself is a historic fishing town with an exquisite harbour now bordered with friendly waterfront restaurants and small boutiques. Thriving but unspoilt, you’ll find its winding streets with overhanging balconies and eclectic Ottoman architecture irresistible.

Sarah will be working with the chefs at the resort hotel to offer a nutritious, delicious menu for lunches and suppers created with locally-sourced produce. Breakfasts will be Turkish-style including eggs, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, breads, olives and fruits. Vegans and vegetarians will be well catered for and fish is available too. One evening the Patara Prince will host an Ottoman style buffet banquet. A second evening an eco-friendly local restaurant will prepare a vegan buffet. Prittie Yoga can cater for any food allergies and intolerances; please notify them when booking your place.

Things to do (optional)

There are numerous beautiful beaches and heritage sites within reach:

  • Diving courses for new or advanced divers can be arranged with advance notice. They off wall, cave, night and deep stream diving.
  • Water sports (windsurfing, water-skiing, snorkeling, scuba-diving) are offered at the resort.
  • A speedboat is available for bay cruises and sunset charters, and a classical water shuttle runs in the daytime to and from Kalkan, where first-timers will be spoilt for choice in terms of the numerous restaurants and boutiques.

Spa treatments

A Turkish Hamam ritual is included in your retreat. This relaxing journey will start with traditional exfoliation with a special silk glove and will be followed by a relaxing olive oil soap foam massage. Other treatments available to you if you wish include a wide assortment of holistic massages and facials using essential oils, aromatherapy, detoxifying body treatments and therapeutic mud masks in the old Byzantine tradition.

How to get there

Recommended Airports

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Dalaman Airport (DLM) or Antalya Airport (AYT). Prittie Yoga recommend you fly into the nearest airport, which is Dalaman, for which there are plenty of direct flights. By road, the journey to Kalkan is a scenic one and half hours and your transfer is included. Let Prittie Yoga know your flight arrival details and departures so they can arrange transfers for you to the hotel.

Alternatively, Antalya Airport (AYT) is a little more than three hours away. Car hire is easily arranged and prices are modest. There is also a bus station in Kalkan with regular services to Dalaman, Fethiye or Kas (or beyond), with stops along the way.

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 32% of the total price.
  • The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
