Preksha Yoga Ashram is a live-in school, a place of learning where you can focus your mind and learn from experienced and knowledgeable teachers. Preksha Yoga is rooted in the traditional practice of Hatha yoga while embracing the innovation of the current day, conducting inclusive teachings on yoga asanas, yoga sutra, philosophy, anatomy, physiology, mantra chanting, chakras, Ayurveda, mudras, Kriya, advanced pranayama, and variation meditation techniques. Hence, in this yoga teacher training program, you will focus mainly on advanced philosophy and advanced asana practice.
After this completion, you are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers or any other yoga federation as you will receive an internationally recognized yoga teacher certification. Therefore, you must have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training course in any style before enrolling in this 300-hour course. As you are enrolling in this course, you will then be taken further along your personal yogic path and deeper into your journey as a teacher, helping you advance professionally.

Yogi Madhav is a very experienced yoga teacher. He has graduated in Philosophy, Sanskrit, and Hindi. He also holds a master degree in yoga and meditation. He has studied the Vedas, varying philosophies, yoga therapy, pranic healing, and reflexology. His in-depth knowledge of yoga and Vedas combined with a modern approach to teaching makes his teaching style unique.
Prabhakar Rana is a yoga teacher with more than 1000+ hours of training behind him. His classes are infused with humor, positivity, and helping students build confidence on and off the mat. He has been studying classical texts of Vedanta and yogic philosophy. He also teaches philosophy and meditation with a modern outlook. His aim is to help his students build confidence with meditative practices and learn how to apply their yogic knowledge in daily life.
Dr. Suvira (Yamuna) born in a beautiful and green village in Goa. Since birth, she has been always in touch with nature and Ayurvedic (local) medicine. In her early childhood, she has learned some Ayurvedic (local) medicine for some common illness from her grandmother. As her granny was DAI (trained nurse), Doctor also learned to conduct complicated normal deliveries with local herbs. Since she was interested in natural medicine, after the completion of her basic studies, she has chosen to become an Ayurvedic physician.
Mayank was inspired to discover his yoga practice after apprehending the transformative benefits he may develop spiritually, mentally and physically. He started practicing yoga under disciplined and liberal supervision from 2015. At the moment, Mayank conducts yoga classes and teach Hatha yoga and Ashtanga yoga to his students. Besides, he takes account of meditation, Trataka, Yoga Nidra, Mudra, Pranayama, Bandha and Geeta philosophy in his teachings to imitate a mingle of inner strength and spiritual awareness in his students.
This teacher training will take place at Preksha Yoga Ashram, India. The ashram is situated amongst the tall banana and coconut trees and surrounded by lush green vegetation, submerged beautifully in the rich nature of Mandrem, Goa. Tranquil and secure in its setting, the ashram is a mere 7-minute walk from Mandrem beach and the soft deep sounds of the sea can often be heard from your beds.
