Take time to reclaim your health and energy. Practicing yoga when your body is laden down with toxic and low life-energy food is like wading through treacle, every posture feels heavy and restrictive. The joints and muscles feel tight and locked in. Whereas, when you detox your body from these energy draining food and bring life back into the body, you can transition with ease and your restrictions no longer lay in our joints and connective tissue.

The etymological meaning of “nutrition” literally means "process of light", and fundamentally, light can only come from plants. Both inside and out, your cells crave the electrical frequencies of light that they can identify with (plants). That’s why when you overwhelm your body with dead and processed foods and also toxic chemicals in the form of commercial soaps, skin creams, and petroleum-based sunscreen, over time and distance, some form of sickness or disease will manifest.
Fatigue, foggy thinking, poor sleeping patterns, repeated ailments like colds, coughs, and headaches, and a general lack of motivation are all symptoms of the body entering a stage of chronic disease. Different foods have varying effects on the chakra energy system. They can support, hinder, or be neutral to it. Dense and processed foods have a low life-force energy and tend to close the chakras down, while light foods with higher life-force energy levels tend to open them.
Through asana practice, you will begin to notice how your diet may be contributing to tightness and constriction in your body and mind and an uneasy feeling of imbalance with yourself. Prana Navina Yoga works in small groups to enable them to give each person one-to-one instruction in yoga and healing eco-delicious cuisine. They will take the whole person into consideration, including lifestyle and medical history.
Tandy is the lead instructor and is a registered yoga elder, which is the highest level of yoga instructor with the Independent Yoga Network, awarded through extensive training and experience. She has taught yoga internationally for many years and has now settled in the beautiful South West of France. She offers yoga teacher training courses and yoga and self-development retreats.
Karen is a vegan and vegetarian nutritional therapist. She has over 25 years experience in vegan living and is passionate about eating compassionately. She fully believes that the clearness of the mind that comes with a healthy plant-based diet can open you up to seeing bigger truths and seeing through old constructs that support the perpetuation of the animal product industries.
This retreat will take place in the beautiful rural countryside of South West France, surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers.

The food in this retreat is deigned to bring you back into a balanced state of optimal nutrition. You will begin firstly with an energy-packed detox to help cleanse the system before you build the nutrient supplies back into your body. Each meal is packed with life-energy nutrients and are both ecologically friendly and free from cruelty.
The aim of this retreat is to release tension and toxic build up in the body. Therefore, your down time is designed to further promote that, in periods of relaxation, meditation, or optional extra life counselling.
