You will have a luxury gites accommodation. There will be single, twin, and double rooms available for you to choose from. It will be in a rural location in the beautiful French countryside, surrounded by fields and ancient stone buildings. There will be use of a private pool during the summer retreats.

This yoga teacher training course is designed firstly to help you step firmly on your own individual journey, developing your authentic yogic lifestyle, then give you the practical teaching skills to bring this ancient practice into the lives of your students.

Only through your own yoga experience can you then bring this life changing gift to others. Without a solid grounded personal practice, you will not be able to teach with conviction, experience, and authenticity. You will need to firmly commit to living a compassionate yogic lifestyle before you can place yourself in the role of teachers. You will teach from your heart which have grown with the practice of yoga not from a text book.

Before you will learn to teach, you must first commit to your own practice. You will begin this course with an intensive series of online modules that include the Anatomy and Physiology course. These modules dive deep into the true practice of yoga and is aimed to set you firmly on the path of yoga, and to help you look deeper at what classical yoga truly is.

The course can be started at any time and the first module is released as soon as the first installment is paid. Once all the 12 modules, including the Anatomy and Physiology course has been completed, then you can attend the 14-day intensive teaching practice retreat in the South West of France. Here you will learn how to become a safe, compassionate, and knowledgeable yoga teacher, and receive your accredited certification.

You will receive instruction in Vinyasa sequencing, adjustments, meditation, pranayama, and an introduction to working with mudras and the chakras. This course will give you the skills, knowledge, and confidence to teach yoga, whilst also deepening your commitment to the practice of yoga.

Yoga is about connecting with all that surrounds you and being united with all. Therefore part of the teaching practice development is to bring practice into nature. You take time to re-connect with yourselves and also nature. Therefore much of your time to spent taking the practice out into the beautiful rural French countryside, connecting with the energy of the Earth.

    Tandy is the lead instructor and is a registered yoga elder, which is the highest level of yoga instructor with the Independent Yoga Network, awarded through extensive training and experience. She has taught yoga internationally for many years and has now settled in the beautiful South West of France. She offers yoga teacher training courses and yoga and self-development retreats.

This retreat is located in Charente, France.

During this retreat, you will be served organic vegetarian food freshly prepared, including superfood options, juices, and raw food. Eating with compassion and cherishing the life energy that food gives is a vital part of living an authentic yogic lifestyle.

During your down time in this retreat, you have the options of exploring the surrounding countryside by bike, relaxing in the pool (open in summer retreats), or visiting local historical monuments.

During this retreat, massage treatments are available upon request at an additional cost.

Please book a flight to the nearest airports, which are Limoges-Bellegarde Airport (LIG) and Poitiers-Biard Airport (PIS). Airport transfers can be arranged for a minimal fee.

  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 60 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival.
