The resort Borgo Pioggio Bianco is situated in the heart of this wonderful region.

The most famous wines, like the Brunello and the Chianti, the unique art of cities like Pienza and Cortona, the thermal waters of Bagno Vignoni and Chianciano, the quiet and opulent beauty of the Tuscan countryside are only the most popular pleasures which this region offers to you.

The estate of Borgo Poggio Bianco covers two hundred hectares and, seventy of them restricted to keep the serenity and privacy of the guests, between Val d'Orcia, Val di Chiana, and Mountain Cetona.

Located in a way to offer a magnificent view over the surrounding region, up to Lake Trasimeno, the wonderful villas are built in the traditional Tuscan style and supplied with all comforts. The furniture are in a solid and sober style, with natural materials and precious ceramics created by the local artisan. The pool and the elegant pool house are the elements that complete your unforgettable holiday.


The daily classes include yoga practice, breathing techniques, and meditation. There will be three meals a day, workshops, and walks in the countryside as part of the program. The morning starts with an energizing Hatha-Vinyasa Flow class, followed by a healthy breakfast at your villa. You can choose either to go on a guided hike with the group or to do a yoga topic related workshop (in consideration of weather conditions).

A light lunch will be served by the pool house and you can spend the afternoon at your leisure, be it at the pool, in the living room of your villa, or by exploring the area. The evening class will be a gentle Flow with Restorative and Yin elements to relax your body and mind. Optionally, you can join the meditation and pranayama session afterwards. Enjoy your dinner at the pool house while watching the sunset over Val d’Orcia and the stars above you.

Your yoga classes are suitable for all levels of students; from beginner yogis to those who want to deepen their practice. Alternative poses are taught, so everybody can enjoy and benefit from the classes. There will be only a small group and the classes are taught in English.

Diana Oser
Diana Oser is a registered multi-style yoga teacher certified in Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, and Ashtanga yoga. She obtained her 200-hour yoga teaching certification at Trimurti Yoga School in Dharamsala, India. Diana has been practicing yoga since 2010 and has been managing successful yoga retreats in Thailand and Sri Lanka. She is deeply interested in how to increase the sense of well-being through body awareness, breath work, and mediation to create a happy life. Diana also holds a certificate in Tibetan massage. Diana is happy to share her passion for yoga with everyone who wants to explore yoga.

How to get there

Driving directions from Chiusi-Chianciano Terme

  • Take A1 highway to exit Chiusi - Chianciano Terme
  • Proceed on SP 478 to Sarteano
  • Continue through the village of Sarteano and straight onto SP 19 towards Chianciano Terme
  • In two kilometers, you will see Borgo Poggio Bianco on your left

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at San Francesco d'Assisi Airport (PEG) which is the closest (75 kilometers away). Alternatively, you can also arrive at Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport (FCO) or Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) which are 190 and 140 kilometers away, respectively.

Arrival by train

Please book your train to arrive at Chiusi - Chianciano Terme station. The station is only 15 kilometers from the resort.

Cancellation Policy

  • A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price.
  • The deposit is fully refundable if the booking is cancelled up to 14 days before the arrival date.
  • The rest of the payment should be paid on departure.
