This is a unique, luxurious, and spacious suite. It is perhaps the finest suite, featuring breathtaking mountain views, a sunken living room, and a private outdoor Bali-style shower.

Lila suite

This suite has soaring vaulted ceilings, rich natural materials, rustic woods, and creamy natural fabrics that lend the spacious suite a crisp, modern air. It has a large private balcony with two hammocks surrounded by lush, verdant foliage, a favorite for honeymooners.

Prana suite

The newly renovated suite is modern and sleek with sliding picture windows that open to a private balcony with spectacular views.

Zendo suite

This has a wrap-around balcony and huge picture windows that make magnificent panoramic views, a main feature of the suite. A glass shower surrounded by greenery brings in the beauty of nature while still affording privacy.

This has an open floor plan with three defined living spaces cascading down from each other. Step down a level from the entry way to the lounge, then to the bedroom. There is an option of king-size or two twin beds. Tri-Level rooms can accommodate three to four guests on request.

These mountainside rooms offer plenty of space and comfort, with an option of king-size or two twin beds. The Kiva building houses six units - two units on top floor, two units on middle floor, and two units on lower floor. The top and middle units are called “Kiva Upper” and the lower floor units “Kiva Lower.” Kiva Upper units have balconies overlooking the Central Valley, while the Kiva Lower units have private patios overlooking tropical gardens and greenery.

These deluxe style rooms feature private balconies with gorgeous views. Approximately 250 square feet, these rooms are great for single occupancy, but spacious enough for a comfortable roommate set up. King-size or two twin beds are available.

The hybrid tent-bungalows are the ultimate eco-chic accommodations for nature lovers. • Review by Najma Rashid

"So much was fabulous about this retreat! I was surprised by how motivating the writing workshops were! I had never written creatively before, and they really opened up a new side of me. I loved the camaraderie with the other women on the retreat, and of course Costa Rica was beautiful – the whitewater rafting, Le Paz Waterfalls, the lush landscape, 6:30 am yoga overlooking the valley and mountains - it was all very inspiring."

"I stumbled upon Pink Pangea’s travel writing retreat in Costa Rica. I only had to read through the page once to know that this was the right time and the right opportunity to finally take that risk. I signed up in a heartbeat, and I am so glad that I did."

"There was just so much in one week - Talia Sutra’s amazing and energetic yoga classes and the interesting and sometimes emotional writing exercises with Jaclyn. I learnt so much! The local food, the beautiful villa and surroundings, and of course the amazing people. Thank you for organizing such a wonderful week."

"I met wonderful writers and had the chance to share stories with strangers who later became friends. By minimizing distractions and removing myself from my day-to-day schedule, I found that the creativity flowed."

  • Review by Stephen Elliot

"I came out of it a different person than I went in. Jaclyn made us linger in our discomfort long enough to compel us to make a change. In fact, she had to relinquish control in order for it to be a catalyst. That’s a mark of a great teacher."

"The trip did everything for me. Planned by the amazing team behind Pink Pangea, I can officially say the trip changed my life for the better. I not only practiced my writing in ways that expanded my passion and skill, but I also made friends of all different ages from all over the world, that after seven days I can consider some of the greatest people I have ever met."

  • Review by Nechama Winston

"Signing up for the Pink Pangea writing and hiking retreat in the Swiss Alps was the best birthday present I ever gave to myself. Within five days, I reconnected with a part of my creative self that I had not tapped into for a while. I now have the motivation and confidence to write and publish, which previously seemed more like a faraway fantasy. I learned that reality is what you create and build for yourself, not something you should wait for or leave for chance to decide."
