"Our two boys had the time of their lives making new friends, fishing, snorkeling, diving and riding their bikes around the very beautiful and safe island."

"Wonderful week, fantastic food, great staff on the most beautiful island on earth. Have returned five times can't wait to go back. This time it was a wellness week. Yoga in lovely setting twice a day. Fitness activities, cooking demonstrations from a great chef. Or just snorkel in wonderful water and enjoy the beauty of the coral. Bikes available to hire on the island. Bush walks and wonderful bird life."

"On the back of a busy period at work, I was looking for a place to get away from it all and Lord Howe Island and the Pinetrees Wellness Week definitely delivered. No mobile coverage and limited internet meant I had to switch off and it was just what I needed to complement the beautiful surroundings and many, many activities the island has to offer. From morning yoga to walks, kayaking to snorkeling, finishing the day with more yoga, it was a great escape from busy everyday life. The best part was the flexibility of it - Luke tailors the program to the weather and what the group is interested in most, so we had more yoga and activities, and less of the cooking classes and gardening. You can opt in or out of any of it, depending on how you're feeling and what you want to spend your time doing and the guys will help arrange it all. The food was just amazing - great choices for breakfast (buffet or choice of hot options), amazing lunches (gourmet buffet at the lodge, take away salads or sandwiches or the amazing BBQ delivered to your preferred location anywhere on the island) and delicious 4 course meals every night. Dani, Luke and their fantastic team made the whole experience just lovely - nothing was too much trouble. I was promised Wellness and this was what was well and truly delivered. Cannot recommend it highly enough and already planning a return trip. "

"We stayed in cottage 22, a lovely 1 bedroom cottage with a little secure area to hang your clothes. I have severe food allergies and had such a great experience here. Within ten minutes of being there the head chef spoke to me about my dietary needs and from then on everyone knew me each meal time and a special surprise meal was made for me."

"The lodge is by far the easiest and most convenient place to stay on the flat side of the island. An easy stroll or bike ride anywhere. We actually hired the little car from Wilson's (near Pinetrees) and it was a super cheap way to get around the island in our wetsuits. It was also handy to get supplies and drive to places just to see the sun set etc, Thanks Pinetrees staff. You guys are the bees knees. Glad we didn't stay at Capella. It's lovely but a long way from most things. It's also very close to the airport so noisier than Pinetrees."

" Not only was my Pine Trees stay comfortable, welcoming, helpful and just thoroughly delightful but the food was excellent. The team of young chefs produced three delicious courses night after night as well as a scrumptious breakfast menu each morning and a varied smorgasbord for lunch. The wonderful and too rare a thing for vegetarians was that the chefs also prepared a proper main course for me. What a treat not to be an afterthought dispensed with by a pumpkin risotto or a mushroom pasta. All the food was wonderful, veggo or no. "

" We have been visiting Pinetrees regularly since 1987 with our children who are now adults and teenagers and who even change their travel plans to make sure they can join us. It is a unique experience which we value, a quintessential Australian beach family holiday but without the crowds and the mobile phones. Only two hours from Sydney is an island of breathtaking beauty and Pinetrees is the guest house with timeless ambience on the edge of the lagoon. We cycle, walk and swim, have barbecues on the beach and share with our fellow Pinetrees guests as relaxed an atmosphere as we can imagine anywhere. The Boatshed is a favorite place and sunset drinks there are now an essential element of the Pinetrees camaraderie. "
