Relax and catch your breath on a natural Australian bushland, nestled amongst the beautiful mountains of the majestic Flinders Ranges. Spend your weekend enjoying yoga and meditation sessions, useful workshop, bush walking and many more. Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative styles of yoga will be offered on this retreat, all of which are suitable for all levels. In addition, varying styles of mediation and pranayama (breathing exercises) will also be offered.

Pichi Richi Park is an accommodation and group venue destination in the beautiful Flinders Ranges opposite the majestic Devil’s Peak. The property is 1,000 acres of Flinders Ranges bushland and many interesting ridge top features. There are several gentle-to-medium walking trails on the property for all fitness levels and numerous activities. Pichi Rich Park has a courtyard accommodation that is perfect for private functions, schools, and corporate groups. For families and couples, Pichi Richi Park has secluded cabin accommodations close-by.

Hatha yoga

Hatha yoga is the traditional style of yoga that is most commonly taught in the West. The Hatha yoga available at the retreat will vary from gentle slow moving poses to slightly stronger, faster paced Vinyasa style poses.

Vinyasa yoga

Vinyasa yoga is a style of Hatha yoga in which we flow with our breath. In Vinyasa, we flow from one pose to another at a slightly faster pace than traditional Hatha yoga.

Yin yoga

Yin yoga is a fantastic form of yoga in which we hold gentle poses for 3-5 minutes, whilst using bolsters, blankets, or blocks for support. Yin yoga encourages the facia connective tissue surrounding our organs and muscles to stretch, releasing hidden tension from the body.

Restorative yoga

Restorative yoga is a very calming, slow form of yoga in which we focus on poses that are specifically designed to slow things down and get us ready for relaxation, meditation, and bedtime.

How to get there

Driving directions from Adalaide

The drive from Adelaide to Pichi Richi Park is 3 hours via the National highway.

  • Just before Stirling North (outer Port Augusta), turn right off of the highway, head through Stirling North until you are in Flinders Ranges and you find Mount Brown on the right
  • Travel through Saltia Creek, you are about 12 minutes from Pichi Richi Park.
  • Next feature about 7 minutes is Woolshed Flat on the right.
  • About 5 minutes down the track, you will go under Railway bridge.
  • Look out about 1 minute down the track, Yacka Pichi Richi Park sign is on your left.
