An invigorating yoga practice is a cornerstone of your summer vacation in Park City. But, this trip is more than a yoga retreat - it's an opportunity for a daily practice, for new friendships, for adventure, and for exploration of the fabulous town of Park City.
Make yourself at home for the week in a beautiful home high up on the hills of Park Meadows. Select from one of three bedrooms to be shared with a roommate or select to be in the triple room.
On your six full days in Park City, you will have a morning yoga practice. On three of those days, you will also have an optional evening practice or guided meditation. In each yoga class, you can expect a unique theme, education aimed at providing you a more aligned and empowered practice, and fluid choreography of movement paired with inspiring music. This is the type of yoga that puts a smile on your face, deepens your connection to yourself and those around you, and challenges you to physically take your practice to the next level. The evening practices will be aimed at a more calming wind down to the day.
All of the yoga taught has a strong foundation in the principles of physical therapy - offering cues and assists that help you build a safe and stronger practice.
Whey you are not practicing, choose to do a variety of activities or nothing at all. Summer in Park City is filled with opportunities to hike, mountain bike, zip line, mountain coaster, swim, play tennis, complete a ropes course challenge, electric biking, summer concerts, fine dining, and more!
Wake up each morning in your beautiful Park City home shared with the other retreat guests.
Your house will be stocked with coffee, tea, juices and light breakfast items if you choose to eat before morning yoga. You may request specific items to be in the house.
Yoga practices are just a short walk to another location where you will view the scenic vistas of Park City as you practice.
Morning practices will be around 90 minutes. Expect a different theme in each class as you learn and practice something new each day, and continue to build your practice throughout the week. You will have plenty of opportunity for individual attention and instruction, inquiry, and fun flow to the music. The style of teaching is a variation of Vinyasa flow with roots in Physical Therapy. It is a smart yoga style called YogaStream.
A chef prepared healthy lunch will be provided during 5 days of the stay. The fifth day is reserved for lunch out on your own. We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs.
Park City is filled with activities to enjoy, and your accommodations are situated in the center of it all. Options include hiking, biking, swimming, tennis, zip lining, mountain coasters, tours of Utah Olympic Park, SUP yoga in a crater, ropes course challenge, electric biking, concerts, and more.
Park City is filled with opportunities for a wide range of SPA, Massage, and other relaxation and therapeutic options.
On three afternoons or evenings, you will have the option for a more restorative and/or meditative yoga practice.
Evenings will include three chef-prepared dinners on site, one group dinner in historic old town, and one picnic dinner at a summer concert. On other nights you may enjoy many of the other dining options in Park City, or cook some food in the guest house.
Elisa is the owner of Peak Power Yoga in Park City. She has more than 325 official training hours, has attended seven yoga retreats and has led the yoga for a retreat weekend at Stillwater Retreats. Elisa has been teaching yoga for five years, both in her own studio, and at local venues in Park City. Elisa loves sharing her passion, and has many students that claim her classes are "The Best in Park City". Elisa's style is fun, energetic, and rooted in principles of alignment and physical therapy, and always with some fun choreography.
