This once in a lifetime 200-hour Bali yoga teacher training will give you a true experience of the island of the gods. This training will be taking place in the famous beach and surf town of Canggu on the Island of Bali, Indonesia. You will have an unforgettable experience and life-changing spiritual journey all while diving into your yoga practice and your self during this yoga teacher training in Bali, Indonesia.
During this training, you may stay either in a shared or private room in the on-site rooms. There's the possibility to book a single room in an off-site accommodation.
Samadi Yoga Retreat Center offers beautiful designer bedrooms: two rooms with king-size beds and eight rooms with single beds which are convertible to kingsize beds. Samadi is a beautiful space, artistically, and stylishly laid out. The surroundings are quiet, quaint and comfortable, designed for luxury living enclosed in a lush green environment and a stunning view to the rice fields. All the rooms have air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, private bathroom, beds, and daily housekeeping.
The off-site accommodations for this training are located at a private villa approximately a five-minute walk from the yoga teacher training location. Peak Beings is providing this as an alternative option to staying on-site. While Peak Beings believe it is more convenient to stay on-site, they also want to provide the option for those that wish to stay off-Site. This is also a great option for a couple wishing to attend the training. All off-site rooms contain a queen-sized bed, private bathroom, air-conditioning, high-speed Wi-Fi, filtered water, pool, and daily cleaning by housekeeping staff.
Students who complete their subsequent trainings are eligible to register with Yoga Alliance as Registered Yoga Teachers (RYT®).
Peak Beings Bali yoga teacher training is certified through the Yoga Alliance and exceeds the Yoga Alliance standards. You will leave this training with newly acquired confidence in yourself and your teaching. The training is primarily a Vinyasa Style training, but Peak Beings will also cover a variety of other styles throughout the training including Yin, Power, Restorative, Hot, Iyengar, etc.
Whether you are looking to share your passion for yoga through teaching or just want to dive into your yoga practice and learn more about topics that are not covered in regular yoga classes, Peak Beings strives to create an environment for all levels and all interests. Peak Beings will cover the details of asanas (postures) as well as dive into the other amazing things yoga has to offer like philosophy, self-development, meditation, anatomy, etc.
The experiences you will encounter during this training will also give you the chance to learn how to fully unify the different layers (koshas) of yourself and others. Certification through Peak Beings Unified Yoga Teacher Training will allow you to evolve your yoga practice and teaching as you change and as yoga styles continue to develop.
The style of the training is Unified Yoga™, which is a registered style with the Yoga Alliance. Unified yoga is a unique blend of many different style(Hatha, Power, Ashtanga, Hot, Yin, etc.). Unified yoga is less of a "yoga
style" and more of a "style of teaching yoga". Peak Beings believes that what the yoga world needs is knowledgeable yoga teachers more than another new yoga style. The focus of the Unified Yoga style is to develop yoga teachers who are knowledgeable, safe, open minded, compassionate and able to help any student develop a yoga practice that works for them.
In this non-authoritarian teaching style, each student is given the space and freedom to honor their own body, mind, and spirit and find comfort in being who they are. As human beings and teachers you arrive on your yoga mat with different life experiences physically, mentally, and emotionally. Unified yoga honors and celebrates each student as they are, trusting their intelligence and allowing them the time and space to find the balance, strength, grace, peace or whatever it is they are looking for in their practice that day.
The setting of the “practice teaching” for the training is in a Vinyasa flow style, but a variety of different styles (Power, Hot, Yin, Ashtanga, etc.) are taught in the morning practice to expose students to styles they may not have tried before. The goal of the training is to learn the tools to teach and then the teacher can utilize those tools to teach in the style that they want and focus on what they want to focus on depending on the students who come to their class.
Unified yoga is the unifying of as many styles of yoga as the teacher wants and learning to adapt them as you like and see fit for your students. The Unified Yoga Teacher Training™ allows every teacher to draw from their own yoga experience in different styles they have practiced and create their classes as they want to or as their students need.
Peak Beings values the experience that the practitioners already have before attending the training and wants to build on that experience and knowledge. You will have all the tools you will need as a teacher to design and guide a yoga class safely in any style you like and Peak Beings truly encourage you to start to create your own unique style.
There are many reasons why Peak Beings have chosen to make the 200 hours of yoga teacher training 25 days long. Peak Beings have carefully structured the training to meet the required number of contact hours per the Yoga
Alliance standards while also allowing you time to absorb and process the information being presented as well as relax and have fun exploring the local area.
This is yoga "school" and Peak Beings will be in class a lot of hours, but Peak Beings don't want it to feel like School and be so intense with too many hours per day that you are not given time to absorb the information and have time to be with yourself, nature, and your experience. You will have two to three days (Sundays) throughout the training when you will only have one class that day so you will have a majority of the morning and all of the afternoon and evening free to do what you want.
Peak Beings give you these days so you can work on your teaching as well as go out on adventures like hiking, surfing, snorkeling, visiting nearby attractions, etc. This also gives you time to connect with your self and your classmates outside of the training.
One other reason logistically is that you will actually plan and teach a one and a half hours class at the end of the training. In order to accomplish this, you need enough days in the schedule for everyone to teach. There are other yoga teacher trainings out there with shorter durations (14 to 22 days) in which you may only teach a segment of a class (15 to 30 minutes) as they don't have enough days in the program to meet the required training hours and have you teach a real class, not to mention have any free time to relax.
Peak Beings feel it is very important for you to go through the full process as a teacher before going out into the real world as a teacher. In this training, you will have the opportunity to plan and teach your class in any style of yoga you want with whatever postures you want in a safe and loving environment among your peers/friends in the training. This way you will already have true experience before you leave the training which Peak Beings feel is vital before you receive your teaching certification.
There are no required readings or texts to buy for the training. Peak Beings does not want students to have the additional expenses of going out and buying books prior to the training. Peak Beings feel the more than 250 pages manual explores yoga in such a vast way and allows the teacher to have a solid foundation in all the aspects of yoga.
If you are looking to purchase any books prior to the training Peak Beings recommends "Light on Life" by B.K.S. Iyengar or "Yoga Beyond Belief" by Ganga White. The training explores many of the "off the mat" topics such as history, philosophy, yoga sutras, self-exploration, etc. These books are good to have some insight into other aspects of yoga that may not be covered in a typical yoga class. B.K.S. Iyengar’s book will give you a very direct and relatively "dense" view on things like this (but is a harder read) and Ganga White’s book is a lighter read with a lighter feel and more of his personal insight.
A sample daily schedule is provided below to give you an idea of the program hours Monday through Saturday. On Sunday you will only have the morning yoga practice and then you will have the rest of the day off to enjoy the beach, surf, relax, and do many of the other activities in the area.
If you are already living in Bali and would like to commute to the training, Peak Beings offer a resident price of 2,295 USD. This price includes the training tuition and all materials, gourmet breakfast every day, welcome and graduation dinners, plus the use of on-site facilities.

Since completing her original 200-hour teacher training, she has assisted four 200-hour trainings and Peak Beings is always grateful when she can take time out of her schedule to make it to the trainings. Tara’s infectious smile, yoga insight, and laugh will automatically bring light and love into your day. Tara loves sharing her passion for yoga with others and enjoys teaching outdoors whenever she can.
The training will take place in the quaint beach and surf town of Canggu, Bali. Peak Beings has found the perfect yoga sanctuary at a world-renowned Samadi Yoga Retreat Center right in town so you will be in a tranquil and peaceful environment. The accommodation venue is still only five or10 minutes from the town center and the amazing local beaches. This state of the art facility is only two years old and you will be blown away at the beauty of the property and peacefulness surrounding you.
For this training, Peak Beings have included breakfast daily plus welcome and graduation dinners. In Peak Beings' experience, it is better to allow students to eat lunches and dinners when they are hungry and can eat where and when they want instead of them assigning a specific time when meals have to be eaten. Peak Beings have found that some students are not hungry at the time the meals are served and they do not eat but are paying for the meal already.
Peak Beings do not want their students to be paying for something they are not wanting and, by allowing you to choose where and when you want to eat, you can choose how much food and how much money you want to spend. The breakfasts can be adapted to any dietary restrictions.
The retreat center strives to make sure that all guests leave the location raving about the amazing meals. Most food is organic and sourced from local farmers. Peak Beings believes the meals will be one more reason you will be wanting to return to these locations again and again. Water, coffee, and tea are also available throughout the day.
The water in Bali is safe to drink in most hotels and restaurants as they host millions of tourists each year. It is recommended to bring a water bottle of your own to fill throughout the training. You can also purchase one there.
Canggu is one of the most popular towns in all of Bali to visit. There are the amazing beaches to swim/surf/snorkel/SUP, restaurants to suit every dietary need, hip cafes, night life, hiking, etc. You will have plenty of things to do during your time off from the training.
