Peaceful Mind - The Ancient Yoga is a prominent yoga school registered with the Yoga Alliance USA. They offer 12 days intensive 100 hours Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teachers training for beginner level students with the primary basics of yoga that are supreme in obtaining in beautiful Goa, India. Students who do not have the time to complete the 200 hours yoga course in the traditional four weeks, Peaceful Mind - The Ancient Yoga offers you the opportunity to absolute the 200 hours yoga teacher training in two sections.
The first section of the 100-hour TTC which is 100-hour yoga TTC will be completed at Peaceful Mind - The Ancient Yoga school. After completing the first 100 hours, you are free to complete the remaining 100 hours within the same year in any month when you have time to visit Peaceful Mind - The Ancient Yoga again. These two sections must be completed within the year of commencement, a certificate of completion will be awarded to the student once all of the required hours, assignments, and examinations are successfully completed.
During this teacher training, you will stay for 11 nights at the school. You can choose to stay in a private single room, a shared double room, or a private double room.
Peaceful Mind - The Ancient Yoga has extensive residential facilities for students undergoing the TTC program. It has three categories of accommodation for the students, which are Deluxe Rooms, Super Deluxe Rooms, and Eco Cottages in double sharing and single private rooms with attached bathrooms. As well as separate residential facilities for the yoga teachers and instructors.
The accommodation is in the form of single participant rooms or double participant rooms. The decision relating to accommodation allotment shall be as per your choice. The AC rooms will be provided as per your choice at an additional cost of 60 EUR and 120 EUR for 100 and 200 hours TTC, respectively.
The yoga school rooms are sparsely equipped, with only the basic necessities being provided in tune with the spirit of the yoga learning process.
The aim of the course is to raise your awareness of yoga and gain a solid foundational understanding of the range and depth of yogic principles and lifestyle. Regardless of whether you have aspirations of becoming a professional yoga teacher or just want to improve your knowledge of yoga, this course will help you.

The Rishis (Vedic Sages) had keenly observed the sitting and standing postures of different animals, which in sprite of limited faculties, have wonderful physical capabilities that man is deprived of. They had studied the effects of different postures in the laboratory of their own body and developed specific asanas which had rejuvenating effects on the entire body-mind-soul system.

Please note that the schedule may be modified if necessary and is just a guideline. Every week there will be one day off.
During the course, the teachers will encourage you to read the four classical texts of Hatha yoga, which they will provide as a gift and which are short and easy to go through. You will have days off and time to read. These texts are Gheranda Samhita, Yoga Upanishads, Hatha Yoga Pradipika, and the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
At the end of the course, you will enjoy having a written exam that will test your knowledge about teaching and is a prerequisite for certification.
Yogi Satendra is the founder of Peaceful Mind - The Ancient Yoga with 27 years of experience in the field of teaching multi-style yoga and meditation for mental and physical wellbeing and inner strength. He is also a certified yoga therapist and has a postgraduate diploma in Yogic Science and certified in "Health Conservation" from a renowned university in India. His philosophy style involves correct postural alignment, balancing strength and flexibility, applying suitable modifications, variations, and creating a compassionate space where people feel safe to explore and challenge themselves.
Shreya Shrivastava is a spiritual and professional yoga teacher and co-founder of Peaceful Mind - The Ancient Yoga, India with an experience of 9 years in the domain of yoga. Shreya is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance, USA. She has been completed her YIC (yoga instructor training course) from SVYASA, Bangalore, India. She is a yoga mentor with diversified experience in meditation, pranayama, Hatha yoga, mantras chanting, and yoga philosophy.
Semra has been teaching yoga since 2012, although she has been interested in Eastern philosophies, mysticism and spiritual practices for much longer. After completing Philosophy and Sociology BA in her home country, she received a Master’s Degree in Indian Philosophy and Religion at Banaras Hindu University in India. She has been practicing reiki since 1996 and recently got familiar with the technique of Vipassana meditation in Dhamma Karunika Center, Karnal, India. She also spent some time learning martial arts, worked professionally as a photographer and musician.
Yogi Chetan is a registered experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance, USA. He completed his Master Degree MA in Yogic Science and Ayurveda from Himalaya Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Dehradun, India. Yogi Chetan has 5 years of yoga teaching experience in various yoga schools in India as a Hatha yoga and Ashtanga, Vinyasa yoga teacher.

Food plays a major role in the right practice of yoga and that's why the school offers three times hygienic and sattvic meals a day to their yoga students. Also, daily herbal tea and hot water are given to students.
The food at the yoga school is prepared as per the pre-planned menu of the school from Monday to Saturday. The food prepared at their kitchen is tasty, hygienic with the use of fresh spices.
The school routine includes three complete meals. The food is vegetarian and a Sattvik balanced diet in tune with the yogic principles of food and diet. The school routine also includes a tea break in the evening.
Outside food is not permitted in the school. However, the school’s outside has a tuck shop where students may purchase fruits or small eats as per their choice.
