"Amazing, intense and well worth the time and money!"
My Swastha yoga experience was nothing short of life altering. The process (and yes it is a very strategically planned process) was amazing to be a part of including but definitely not limited to poses, sequencing or teaching. It enriched my teaching and my own practice by allowing me explore the who, why and what of myself too.

"Life changing experience "
I took the leap and registered to come here 5 days before start date. It was the best decision I could have ever made. It truly is a life changing experience. I went in not knowing what to expect, and came out with knowledge and confidence on not only the asana part of yoga, but how to an aligned life off the mat. I recommend this training to anyone looking for a once in a life time experience. I cannot say enough good things about The Human Journey and Kevin and Serena. Take the leap!
***accommodations and food are amazing as well :)

"200hr Teacher Training"
This yoga training was more than I had hoped for! I loved that it is not simply training in how to teach yoga poses and is instead thorough training on how to live in alliance with what you truly care about; really understanding what it means to feel well-being in your body, heart, and mind.

"Life changing experience - highly recommend "
This retreat, the people, the staff, the surrounding - everything was just so wonderful! I had a rough time traveling on my own and the last days I spend at this retreat brought me back to life! I felt so much peace, comfort and understanding there that I was crying when I left this place! Also the Customer Service is beyond which I am so grateful for! If you want to experience yoga, peace and community, definitely go this retreat! Not only have you time for yourself but also can do wonderful excursions which will get you out of your comfort zone and into pure energy! Thank you so much for organizing everything and making this trip so special!

"Peaceful retreat away from the crowds "
The best parts of the stay start with the variety and selection of activities. I broke my foot 2 months before coming and we had a completely different experience than expected- we went from planning an adventure packed physical retreat to a spiritual, restorative experience. Peace Retreat was able to accommodate this with zero hastle. I highly recommend the sweat lodge and cocao ceremony led by a local shaman, Alejandro, who offered an experience of a lifetime.
Their onsite food is also decadent. I’d say best restaurant in the neighborhood - they offer great value and combine local ingredients and recipes with modern twists.
Last but not least, the staff and the hosts are by far what makes this place. From the moment you arrive, Kevin and Serena are there to greet you with warm smiles. Loved the daily chit chat with all the staff - you can tell they are happy and want to be there. Jessica, thank you for all the tips and knowledge of Costa Rica!
After 15 years in tourism, consulting hundreds of businesses like this and doing annual yoga retreats/teacher trainings since 2017 - this one was right up there in humbly exceeding expectations and offering an authentic experience.

"Peace Retreat @ Costa Rica Guanacaste"
I mostly liked the fact that we had different instructors so we could benefit the most from practicing different yoga styles

"Good Retreat Program in Costa Rica"
Peace Retreat is located in a tranquil & indeed peaceful area of Costa Rica! The staff are welcoming & genuinely interested in guests having a rejuvenating, relaxing, and invigorating retreat experience. The lodging accommodations are comfortable & clean. There is a pool onsite & areas on property to sit outdoors & enjoy sights and sounds of nature. The retreat program is high quality. Yoga is 2 times daily with resident & visiting instructors from abroad which added wonderful variety to the classes. The built yoga shala is outdoors which is wonderful for hearing sounds and enjoying nature. The shala is equipped with supplies and while yoga mats are available they are thin from use & I believe need replacement. I traveled with my own yoga mat & was happy to have the added cushion. Meals were nutritious & really delicious! There was wonderful menu variety from day to day. I enjoyed meeting other retreat guests & interacting with locals. Overall, really good retreat program in a relaxing location with welcoming staff.

"Magical jungle sanctuary"
Peace Retreat is nestled in the jungle only 15 minutes or so from the beach. Having come in the off/rainy season we got to experience the pure solitude and greenery within. Jess, the property manager was beyond kind and made us feel instantly at home. The food was fresh and cooked with love. You could feel and see the passion and dedication from the owner via the minor details throughout. Peace Retreat is truly magical. "Nice beachy place "
Cabanas were cozy, safe in room, bathrooms/showers clean, walk to beach, was given complimentary one hour massage due to construction noise

Yoga twice a day (7 am and pm, except on Sunday): great classes and they mixed up the teachers providing a varied experience.
Mountain biking/SUP/Surfing: All three were great: I'm a novice to mountain biking and surfing and I had a blast!
Unbelievable. I know it was a solo trip but didn't feel like it. The manager Nancy, the volunteers and the invited yoga instructor were amazing. They went out of their way to provide a welcoming fun atmosphere (inviting me to the beach/activities with them, just friendly all around). Honestly, I don't even know if they were going out of their way as they are just amazingly friendly people, just seems like they were being themselves.
