Pathways Country Yoga Retreat offers luxurious, comfortable accommodation in a very homely environment. Each room can accommodate up to two guests and has either a shared or a private bathroom. The rooms hace views either to the swimming pool or the three serene dams.
There is a private island and gardens for quiet time or contemplation with an outdoor sun deck to soak in the miraculous beauty of sunrise and sunset. There is also an indoor and outdoor yoga studio, fresh vegetable and fruit gardens, nature walking trails, and an abundance of bird life.

Jennifer Fitzsimmons
Jennifer Fitzsimmons is the founder of Pathways Academy of Life and Pathways Country Yoga Retreat based in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa, where she hosts various yoga teacher training and yoga retreats. Her journey began 26 years ago when she was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and had a burning desire to heal. Jennifer has been practicing yoga for 26 years and teaching for 24 years. She has also trained teachers for the last 20 years. She is a published author of four books and a Community Ambassador of Global Peace Let's Talk.
Retreat location
This retreat will be held at Pathway’s Country Yoga Retreat in Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa. The retreat is an escape from everything happening in the world to a tranquil space where you can simply just be in stillness, contemplation, and reflection. It is situated between rolling green hills overlooking serene dams where you can unwind, relax, and rejuvenate.

- Take the N3 road towards Pietermaritzburg.
- Take the camper down off-ramp.
- At the top of the off-ramp, turn left.
- Follow the road for about three kilometers to a T-junction, turn left onto the R603 toward Umbumbulu, and pass Tala Game Reserve and Eston Farmers Club.
- After about 15 kilometers, you will pass a Caltex garage on your left at the Eston cross roads. You will be five kilometers away from the pathways sign. Continue along the R603.
- After about five kilometers, you will see a signpost of Pathways Country Yoga Retreat.
- Turn left at the sign off the R603 and proceed along a gravel road.
- The road will come to a fork so take the left side of the split and follow the white painted arrows on rocks on the side of the road.
- When you reach a T- junction, there is a small rock with a white arrow, turn left.
- Follow this road until you come to a small sign post Clonmel Farm Homestead and turn right.
- Proceed with this road until you come to the homestead front gate.

- Proceed along the N3 in the direction of Durban.
- Take the R603 Umlaas Road, Umbumbulu, and the Richmond off-ramp.
- Follow the Umbumbulu sign on the R603.
- Proceed down the R603 towards Umbumbulu.
